Hallo

Right-click on the transaction, up to "Profit", left to "as Points" and left-click. Then you will see your profit/loss as points/pips.

Happy pip hunting!

thanks for responding, I am talking about the account history, not my open position!!! Or when you use "save as detailed report" to get your history in HTML format..

oh yeah that sucks, you can't change that. The best you can do is look at the open and close price and figure it for yourself. I've wished it could do this too.

Thank you, this really sucks... I tried importing it in to excel and see if I can subtract the open price from the close price, but it takes forever cuz you gota do it one by one..

thanks anyway

You might try something like Snagit. It can capture text from a screenshot then if you play with the capture a bit, you can import to excel by copy and paste.

You could save the HTML table as xml, then import it into excel, or write a custom app in access that grabs the data from the html...I will look into this when I have some time.

You can also use MT4Report v1.8 to automatically calculate the pips.

Thijs van Vliet is the author of this program. Good luck trying to get in touch with him. If you do a google on him, there is a website called ALICE that lists him as an engineer with an email address...

Another solution for the pips calculation is to open the statement file with MS Excell and use the following function:

=IF(AND(F6<20;C6="buy");(J6-F6)*10000;IF(AND(F6<20;C6="sell");(F6-J6)*10000;IF(AND(F6>20;C6="buy");(J6-F6)*100;(F6-J6)*100)))
