Daily momentum at start of the bar in the morning was very bearish. I would be taking a big risk if I target 234. 233.50 is the London Pivot reisitance 2. I doubt the price will go any higher than that.

the last fall from 233.68 to 229.73, price retraced to 76.4% and we have the first signal for reversal/retracement (whatever you want to call it, I believe it's reversal) on 15m, now watch for signs on 30m and 1h charts.

I love this pair...and this trendline..its like magnet...the lower hold and the upper pulls price towards it...we may look for a breakout this friday...so till then sell at top trendline and buy at lower and sit tight...keep 30 pip stop loss above or below depending on buy or sell.

I am guessing that today is the day that the dow closing at a new record. The question is, do we get the big fall I expect, or does the market really think they will get another rate cut in October?

I agree, Karmo. I know you were targeting the 200EMA but my 4H chart actually shows price respecting the bearish trend line more than the 200EMA. The previous two highs actually shot above the 200EMA a bit, but notice so far that price has respected the trend line. I think it's done going up, unless we get a DOW spike, but overall I think we are looking for a reason to go short now. The one thing that would change my mind is a solid close above the trend line, maybe by a 1H candle.

Hi karmo, are you talking about candle formation signs on the 30m and 1h? or what sighn do we whach out for. thanks.

I agree with everything you said, it could still go up to 233.30-.40 before showing any reversal signs on 30m/1hr, let's see what's in the store for us

Here's one more look. Actually, if we go back one more previous high to begin our bearish trend line it does allow for a move to the 233.30 area where the 200EMA is. You might get your TP after all, K.

Karmo, patience is the name of the game man, thanks for this advice went to bed last night at 2 a.m. (contemplating on closing my long every second that i watched the screen), woke up +100 pips in profit, closed long and now waiting for a short trade. Thanks man
