I don't know Mike.

I can only gauge momentum at the instance of its occurrence.
If it is sloppy around that area, i may consider exiting as i did earlier today with GBP/JPY and then reenter.

You just have to wait and see what it will do.
We can speculate as TAs based on historical data, but when it comes to managing present circumstances we can only conclude a course of action from real-time feedback. We just gotta wait it out.

Hi all

I just found this thread yesterday and a big thanx to the originator. I am practising spotting signals in real time, therefore the example og e/c.

Question

In the chart below, will it be a valid signal if current bar closes below 50, or do we wait for second bar to open/close below 50.

MACD Signal Line and MACD Value Line have just cross at TF5M.
Just closed my SHORT G/J at +50 pips.
Will be considering to reenter SHORT when the MACD lines crosses again.
