Hope you don't mind if i resume it for you.

There are 3 subjects.

1- The first is about the thread original post, claiming that forex is about looking at the chart and selling tops and buying bottoms without anymore confusing analysis. Simply buy or sell on lows or peaks and leave the trade open without SL.

2- The second subject is about one replier that claim to be possible to make a good steady long term profit collecting interest on GBP/JPY, on a daily basis.

3- The third subject is about the MAs as a lagging indicator being important or useless for a sucessful trader, and if there are a change of importance depending on the chart formations, trendy or choppy.

Now you can give your three opinions if you want.

Well whatever you say is not a strategy to win but a strategy to be overconfident for the time being and ultimately loose all the money...
The strategy is to take in to account technical analysis as well as news..
Chart reading plays the most important role in forex and remember history repeats itself...so whenever you study charts always look for the similar reactions and similar formations on charts in the pasts ....that will help you a lot!
Nothing in the world is easy if u dont have a plan ....
A plan with patience and greed free mind with careful stop loss and a studyful learning behaviour throughout your trading whether you are experienced for 1 year or whole of your life will help you be a successful trader in forex!

it is not so much the MA cross as it is which side of the MA the price is on as to the direction of your trades, this can be done just as easily by using only 1 MA also. when using only 1 MA a 10 period works quite well......trade the side of the MA the price is on.

not to say that it doesn't fit here! Just think it would be great to
follow along with your method on its own thread.

OKay ill tell you exactly what will happen... one day your moving averages will turn up and you go long suddenly the market turns down and since you dont got any stops you'll wait and since youve got so much confidence and the human error which is "greed" youll add on your lots because you think it will come back.... and if you think im wrong do this... for people who always trade on the direction of the market and dont have stoploss please post your trades here i would really love to watch

Appreciate your honesty. You could have gone on saying you were making 38% weekly or some other crazy outrageous amount like some others claim. People like to hide behind the anonymity of the internet. Good for you.

Hang around Forex Factory, read a couple of books, get a trading mentor but most of all take your time and learn as much as you can before taking another shot at forex. If it is meant to be it will happen for you someday.

Sorry you lost your money... Forex is not easy, most people lose their money so don't feel too bad. It's much better to be honest about it, if forex isn't for you, its best to get out as it has a steep learning curve and takes a long time to learn.

Sorry to hear of your loss, do some more reading and demo trade for a while......also use stops....not using stops is like running with scissors, eventually your gonna fall on them.

LOL I totally agree! In my own case when I post what are
probably taken as "negative" experiences, I can't help but think
that it's not what people want to hear! But, more honesty would
help promote the conservative, step-by-step approach needed
for success. Also: Thread titles could probably do without wording
such as "easy", "guaranteed" etc.
