Hello to all,

New to this thread. Is anyone on this thread trading during Asian hours? If any, would much appreciate their response. I would very much like to read thier posts.

Sorry for this asking as I know I should read all the posts to find out myself , but it is just too many posts to even quickly go though and identify... hope I would be forgiven.

People on this thread trade all sessions. There really is no way to pick out which comments are from the asian market hours. Your best option is to join in during those hours and I am sure that people would be glad to help you.

Thanks, markam. That's a good advice.

My trading time is Australian open +/- 1 hour and London open +/- 2 hours, approximately. It's not necessarily the time major moves will happen, nevertheless should give nice 20 pips scalping opporunities.

I trade from Japan.

Nice thread I have just completed reading it (2 weeks.) I have been using the 15m version in conjunction with this calculator with great success.

welcome to Aus's main thread, the reason you did not get the easy answer is because had you read the System pages you would have found all that you require.

i would suggest that you and all other new traders to Aus's systems, look at his Signature and read through both the 15min and 4h stratagy pages, both these are much shorter than his main thread and will answer 90% of your start up questions. you will also find all the addons you need.

once you have all the indicator setup, come back and learn how to trade them, don't just follow Aus karmo or any other post, find out why they made that decision and then ask you question.

Keep in mind, that if you don’t have the discipline to follow your method, then you have no method at all!

If you have the above traits you will also be able to acquire to more which will lead you to currency trading success.

4. The Ability To Isolate Yourself

You must be able to rely only on yourself.

Don’t be tempted to discuss your trading with anyone, or give anyone else advice.

You will simply allow your emotions to get involved, and you need to keep them out of your trading to succeed.

5. Patience

Patience is a must in forex trading.

You need to not only have, the patience to wait for the right forex signals to come and not try and rush profits.

You must also have the patience to execute your trading system, through periods of inevitable losses.

The above 5 factors are key traits of all successful forex traders and give them the mindset to accept short term losses and stay disciplined to achieve overall currency trading success.

Confronting the Truth

The forex market forces you to confront truth.

Your opinion counts for nothing; the truth is the market price, no matter what you or anyone else thinks. The market is all powerful and always right and only you can be wrong.

This is why you have to create a framework or set of rules, that allows you to keep your emotions or weaknesses under control and allows you to deal with an unpredictable market and come out a winner.

This is why you cannot find market success through someone else. Traders need to find their own truth and work out how to confront the market - this is why you must do their own research and trust yourself.

If you cant do this and you believe all the people who tell you about how easy forex trading is you will lose your equity and lose it quickly.

For the past 2 weeks or so, price has been bouncing off the 38.2%, 50%, and 61.8% fib levels on the 4h chart, we also have a triangle, once it breaksout.. we will have a clear direction. 200ema (red line) has been a good resistance.

Applying Daily Pivots & 100sma to minimize the fake calls.

Long-
15 min QQE60 crossed up above the Daily Pivot
Price is above the 100 sma & LevelStop-Reverse
I also use the 1hr QQE 5 to identify the trend direction

price should go retest 200ema once again in new week

i see possibiltiy--v likely- of it even going further up to 200ema and then 50ema on daily and if it closes above those then definately to 100sma on daily---ill wait for confirmation of candle close above 200ema on 4hr

candle closed again around 50ema on weekly--just as forecasted

The indicator is in the "indicator" folder ...select Moving Average then use 200 as the Period and select "exponential" for the MA Method.
