How do you know that Pipsqueak? Is there some kind of correlation with the sessions?

Actually Big Ben just finished with his prepared remarks. The house members are on a break to go vote...probably on spending more money on something stupid. They'll be back then the house members will start questioning the Fed Chairman.

We need USD/JPY to break 114.50 down to bring 230.00 into play. Otherwise, 230.57 may be our lowest for now.

Well based on my limited observation (about 7 months of trading forex), I observe that asian usually follow US because the major news release occur before and during US session, hence dictate the direction of gj/dow. Asian session rarely has any major news release so Asian traders rely on the same news that were released in the prior US session.

I thought DOW push the GJ up !!! Hmmm Am I missing something here....?

Well Asia led us today as the Nikkei went down yesterday while the DOW went up.

guys--just a note:

a 61.8% fib is very powerful---especially on higher TF's
we have perfectly bounced off it ( 61.8% fib of the last 4hr run Up)
we need a candle close below it --especailly on a 30min/1hr tf (4hr would be even better--but the move down could be big --u could miss the oppurtunity)
many a times it bounces off HARD of 61.8% fib --esp in larfer TF fibs
so try book profits near that fib--and reeneter as it bounces
the entry can actually be picked from fibs on 5min chart
for any fib questions--ask masta Karmo

if we get a close below 61.8--then nxt fib is at 229.65ish
ill b taking profits at 229.75/80---and then wait for the nxt signal after bounce back up

my alarms are set--im off to sleep
hopefully we get there quickly

Dow is not really going up. It's stalling. And yes, GJ and dow do behave strangely maybe one day out of a month. Dow is only one of the many factors that drives GJ.
