He should keep rates the same, but he may bend and lower them .25.

Cut the funds rate by 0.375 rather than the suspected 0.25 or 0.50

That will throw all the markets off guard, the talking heads will need another month to analyze this unforeseen number given in the fed rate decision and
the reaction will be beneign.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the stock market retreat to the opening level prior to the fed announcement. This would leave room for GJ to retrace to the 4-hr sma

Whoops! You're supposed to wait until price comes back to the 5SMA on the 4H chart before entering. You're about 100 pips or so early on your entry.

Hi Markam do u think the equity will be disappointed with the .25 cut making them go lower?

I'm not going to take this strategy trade even though the Daily QQE is with us this time..

The Fed can spoil the party for everyone, I'll just wait till news is released and then jump in..

until then, I'll just have something to eat and listen to music

Unless the announcement language is extremely negative towards further cuts, I expect a .25 cut will give the market the green light for a push towards a new record.

The stock market rally is doomed, and I do expect dow 10,000 before thanksgiving. But short term, the bulls may have their fun.

IMHO, it could and the 1HR 50 EMA and the upward trend line are heading towards the 38.2 level

Well Gandolf, I'm not a master forex trader (yet), having been at it only a couple of years, but I am an experienced trader, having started in the 80's with equities and then moving to options and commodity futures.

And I can tell you that all the successful traders I have ever known do have their trading plans and rules written down in documents. I suspect the most successful of them have their trading rules (in large, easy-to-read print) posted adjacent to their trading screens, and review them each time they're about to put on a trade, before they transmit that buy or sell order.
