Ah, the bad luck strikes. I knew it was coming - can't keep winning forever. Euro trade still going, other 2 manually closed for -70 and -60 respectively. Stupid to go against std.dev in random times like this, but hey, everyone is always learning.

Expecting euro to drop a little now given bearish pin-bar. on H4. Meaningless movement.

ok, since i've got your permission i'll try to put some of my trades here. with charts, of course.
i'm gonna watch only g-u and g-j, on h1 and h4. the settings can be found on the charts.
h1, ema60 (close), w%r 7, cci 14. i have 2 macd, see the settings.
what i do is this: i look for divergences that may signal a change of trend; then i re-enter on any retracement i catch. i exit or tighten my SL when i see another divergence...
and here's the first one on h1 g-j: the way i see it, this might be a chance to catch a retracement.

1. long term trend macd histogram is up
2. 60ema points up
3. oscillators are OS (oversold)
4. i don't see any divergences to suggest that this uptrend might be over (well there might be something on cci... it's just that i'm not convinced yet)

so, my approach is this: either wait for the oscillators to become more oversold and then enter long (i can't tell right now where... it usually is on top of last candle where oscillator was the most OS), or set a pending buy order at the horizontal lines: buy at green, SL at red.

another chart, this time h4.
obviously, a range. see that w%r is OB, and that there's no clear direction where this pair is heading. if this range carries on, then a short would work starting at the green line, with SL at the red line. if you think that R/R is worth it (i don't, so i'm not considering entering a short position yet).

Allright, what a day. I must've made like 10 trades at least this afternoon, and maybe 5 earlier in the morning. Absolute massacre, but you know what? It played EXACTLY as cesar and other good folks had imagined: instant negative interest = instant bad jolt for USDJPY related pairs, followed by rebound as credit worries (which are the focus) are relaxed. Rebound on majors still waiting to happen, hence these new trades. Bernanke probably did the right thing, even if he seemed to cave in.. he probably got a few calls from the president earlier in the week. Sometimes it's more about the politics than the economics. Oh well, I'm always *for* less interest. Interest is unnatural, asking money for money, makes little sense to me except that it is necessary in today's financial world. 2 pips.

And what do you know, the rebound comes. It's called reading the stars, folks. Someday I'll teach you how to do it lol.

EDIT: I realized I haven't put up my second GJ trade, I had 2 open just like my GU trades. That brings the total to well over 1000 pips but I'll leave it out because I was a bad boy and I never put it up.

I've been in forex for "quite a while" now so this is really a necessary step for me to keep track of things, it' good to be profitable but it's also important to document my trading so that others can laugh and cry with me. EURUSD closed for nasty hesitation in price action. Current pressure (h4 charts) is bullish. I'm expecting it to fall by Friday, but will wait for confirmation to re-enter. Oh yes, and all pending orders have not triggered and are now non-applicable(canceled).

EDIT: 114.64 looks like a nice target placed above the 50 fib retracement of the last surge. Trades should not not be closed without H4 hesitation, however.

Bounced just before the 61.8 fib. I was a little optimistic with the target, could have made 10 more pips or so. *tears*. haha.
