It doesn't necessarily have to hit 234 but that's the potential. I'd still be happy with 100 pips if it only gets to 230.35.

AUS, will it not be good for GBP/YEN to go up if FED does cut rates , but downside is if USD/YEN tanks, then it will take G/JPY also down.

What carry trades want to hear is , US is willing to do something to stabilize the market. If Bernake gives a similar statement as UK's Allestair Darling did today, that will pump the carry trades back in to action for few weeks until the next bad news from a hedge fund/Bank collapse . Just my thoughts

I did some cycle analysis on the DOW and I have a projection point on the EUR, both scheduled to reverse at the end of this month (around the 27th). I can't seem to get anything on guppy but I suspect the reversal could happen around then also (i.e. reversal from the potential high).

Hey Bro,

A close friend of mine whom follows stocks closely suggested that to get a better perspective on where the DOW is going, to look at the S&P500 and NASDAQ, whts your take ? He said the DOW follows those two...

We may not have to wait long for the bank component. Lehman's earnings announcement today should be a hint of things to come.

As long as the price is above the London Pivots.. It's safe to take the 15min strategy trade. If the price goes below the pivots and we get a 15min short signal it will be a good short trade.
BUt I never go short if the price is above the daily pivots or visa versa
