karmo... question for you... there still is a downtrend but if the FED cuts rate as expected dont you believe the carry trade will go on???

If they raise rate then more carry trade will happens, if cut rate.... no one want to carry anymore........I think.

Here is a chart. It should bounce off the orange shaded area and stop will be below that slightly increasing trendline. Risk is fairly low.

Honestly the fed can do what he wants, I don't know what will happen if he cuts or doesn't cut rates. I will just sit here and trade what my charts shows, if it says down, I sell and visa versa.

Were you referring to

1) USD PPI 8.30?
2) What makes you think the GJ will drop, obviously your beliefs around FOMC?

As long as the price is above the London Pivots.. It's safe to take the 15min strategy trade. If the price goes below the pivots and we get a 15min short signal it will be a good short trade.
BUt I never go short if the price is above the daily pivots or visa versa

FOMC.. I might not take the intrest rate trade at all.. Already up 212 pips for the day.. I will cash in the rate cut tomorrow. Market will be too volatile to predict.
Its not the interest rate cut which matters. It's the Bernake's statement after the release. How the hell we can predict that
