Almost to the 1 hour sma. Hopefully (for me) we go below there, and can head for the 4-hr sma sometime after the US market closes.

The resistance at 234.70 isn't that strong. It should bounce off 234.00 and head back up. It is going to get more difficult after that (when it enters into the 235 region).

i got a buy order at 234.00 with a very tight stop loss though

i will add more longs when the 200ema breaks

Markam, what exactly are you using to determine these "tops/bottoms" during these quick movements? Or just based on what you see or how you feel?

i wouldn't be surprised if it goes all the way to 233.60

dow is back up near 13450. If GJ goes over 234.4, I will probably either close my short or hedge it.

I was watching the dow. When it started down, I went short. I am short from 234.7, hoping to ride it down to the 4 hour sma.

the resistence to the recent move up looks to me like 234.70 which is also the 38.2 Fib of the fall from 244 to 219. (Red Fibs)
it is also the 200 ema on the 4H.

what are others views on it?

232.93 is the current value of the 4hr sma, it could possibly head that direction after the NY close imo.

the new 4hr 5sma will move much higher in an hour n a bit when the new candle forms (IBFX platform, VTtrader platform)

very possible, however, not on this 4h candle, probably the next one. i'm feeling m30 is about to cross downwards, will sit there and watch.

15mn aus strategy gives a signal to short EJ.
And since EJ broke his resistance lines before GJ, it might give us an early signal to short

Probably in the 233.5-233.6 area. I will take 110 pips without having to make myself put in a long order. You know I hate going long.

My current 4H sma is 232.06..i wonder if there can be a difference of 100 pips betweens SMAs of 2 different platforms??

if the next 30m candle is bullish, might re-enter long again to 235 area
