Understand exactly what you are saying. With this carry trade thing have always thought that the Dow/equities control the Yen but with lingering doubts whether it's the other way around!?

Anyway to profit I know I have to follow the crowd/charts....but it's soooo difficult to trade against what one thinks!! Have to keep repeating "I must follow the charts"...lol

Here's a 30min trend channel.....looks like its got some down movement to the bottom....at least to the 230.90 region......

going to add it to my chart on mt4.

I do not use auslanco's indicators on MT4, maybe someone who is using auslanco's indicators on MT4 can help you out.

go to your metatrader folder then
expert folder then indicators folder and paste it on folder

I normally do like this:

Go to My computer and find where all those files you just downloaded. Copy or move it to this directory (where your MT4 is resided): It could be like this:
C:\Program Files\Interbank FX Trader 4\experts\indicators

Copy the indicator to the folder
MT4/experts/indicators

it will appear under indicator/custom

You know when your trade has been negative as long as mine has you start to think in terms like: "WOW! this negative amount is better than my previous negative amount...hmmm, maybe I should close out and just feel lucky".
