There's always a consolidation after the price cover the weekend gap. Now we have to wait and see which way the price will move.. I will go short if my 15 min strategy gives a signal.. I have locked in some profits and still have few positions open for the long target or Daily 5 SMA.

Anyone, any idea why the cable is sitting so quiet?

Is it waiting for the London open? What are the predictions?

Might want to close long too. Wary .. slow stoch starting to show sign of overbought. I have my daily goal met anyway. Sleep time here in US. Wish best to all who are still long.

GU 4hr trend is up
30min QQE is down..
Currently it's ranging..
If the 30 QQE cross upwards It will shoot up, depends on the news.

As it is 70% long 30% short.

I closed out my long at 229.92 awhile ago, because it seemed to have lost it's energy and wasn't going over 230 this session.

Now I've bought a lot at 229.78 and will let it ride for awhile. Not sure if Frankie will send it soaring, but London might. Things are still looking bullish on the 1hr and 15 min.

Daily 5SMA is 232.06 right now, so I'll set a TP for the upper 231's and a SL in the lower 229's.

Seems like Hakuna isn't here to give us his EMA wisdom, but I noticed that we crossed above the 15M 50EMA an hour or so ago, and now we are trying to break back down below it.. I'm guessing that going below it would send us down, otherwise we might go up more?

EJ is back below 156 ever since GJ couldn't go above 230, maybe this is a good sign for downward movement too? GU seems to be wanting to go above 2.03, I'm sure that would help if it does!

Is it a given that the price has to touch the Daily 5SMA if it deviates a lot from it? May sound silly but am simply trying to understand the confidence displayed in the 5SMA here

Very strange, coz mine is FXCM as well, although my TP was 230.05, it never seemed to cross over 230.00 ...

Given its downward trend, I closed it at BE...

Basically yes, but 5SMA could come down to touch the price instead of vice versa.. But, I don't think you really want to pay much attention to it on a daily chart unless you have other signs that a daily retrace might be happening..

Maite, my 5SMA shows 231.69 ... why is yours different?

I wouldnt think it could go that different from broker to broker ...
