need some advise, never been in this situation were the price moved so much before open - should i close and wait for retrace or leave open.

not sure how to handle it

short at 230.33

I could move a SL up to secure some pips and see were it goes

Last time I saw this happen it continued down for another 50-100 pips after opening, before finally retracing. I think it was either August 5 or 12th.

Dunno abt trading on FXCM but I can at least see the prices changing... has a spread of 13 pips now!

It does say "Trading is closed' down in the status !

My FXCM has been on for about 10min. here in Japan. I haven't tried to execute a trade yet though, I have no open lots.

I see people having problems with their brokers ALL the time. For what it's worth, I've never once had an issue with Forex.com... also have never seen the spread greater then 10 on GBP/JPY even during the most volatile times.

US FXCM won't open until 6:00 PM EDT. This is their normal opening hour on Sunday.

my MBT flatform was down for 15 mins more then usual from start but thank god, it opened and i closed my Earlier Short 231.80 open from friday , will jump in once it retraces the gap
