So what is the verdict for this week, anyone. Here is my thoughts, the rate cut I think was just a band aid, and the N.Y. session will cause the # to rally in early trading only to see the Yen make a move later in the day and then hold strong until the sub prime issues (headlines) get old or get worked out. wouldn't be supprised if it spikes up but I think the over all trend will (yen rally) keep going. Can't wait to see what happens.

I don't think it's good idea to take carry trade right now because the subprime problem will only turn worse in coming months unless FED take action to cut rate... The history of 1998 may repeat again.

Just rangebound this week, overall trend still remains down, untill the daily charts change.

GJ is undergoing a correction phase here, should attempt 236.65 / 237 this week before trending back down.

I got to admit that even I made a big mistake here.

I was writing an indicator to know better the levels GJ can achieve in a month and figured 220 was the low for the month of August, so 215 is out of question here.

My mistake.

The immediate uptrend here goes to 236.45.

234.32 formed a very good resistance for today for a correction.

Yes there are updates, however now instead of daily or hourly i feel its best to post weekly or monthly.

244.58 is the immediate target for GJ, somewhere around 1100 pips i guess.

Hi Karmo, just curious what you used for that target to project it. Fib extension of the last bounce / range?
