In response to your question, it relates to the carry trade. When equity markets are up, confidence is high and the carry trades are running. When markets are down, it is the opposite.

The reason they correlate so closely is I am sure the same market players, running the same buy sell programs make them move at the same time

sometime ago in this thread , some1 placed a news regarding massive 4.5B bet on market crashing before 21st of this month , pretty shocking to see some group actually controls the market ...

This is far from a crash. When we drop below 10,000 in the dow, then we can start talking about a crash.

1H pin bar forming. Momentum turned up on 1H and 30M. Momentum slowing overall and retracement due. Remember, this beast does have to stop and burp every now and then.

yup , its the start but , i expect fed to keep rate at same level , n dow will plunge on 19th , making that 4.5 B bet valid ...

Fed will cut either way.

If they don't cut, the market will force them to cut the very next day.

LOL...thanks for slapping me back out of my "Almost" greed funk that normally would kill me...

I will wait for it to start on it's way back down beings how it just went through the 30 min 5sma. Must want the 1hr 5sma.

Hi all: just trying to understand a little. The thought is that once it retraces to some level say 1hr 5sma it should continue back down?
