    We've been monitoring the new 1k area in an effort to see what the Trading Room is going to offer Traders, and how well supported the moves from Merlin and the FF staff are going to be. As an idea it is very good, get Professional Traders together, or at least Traders who indicate an ability to have actually made 1000 trades together, and let the Trade Set-Ups roll. The questions over who has actually qualified, how they Trade, whether they even Trade will soon be answered, the amount of noise over that issue was amazing, and showed us that there seems to be more concern over who qualifies than there is over who ... Impressive that our ramblings would intrigue you. Are you Long or Short our success?

As you well know, The Art of Trading is recognizing the Noise.

A Trader who looks to publicly post their potential Trades ahead of time opens themself up to public ridicule, and the fear of losing credibility, not to mention the fear of an 'Unvouching', and that is one reason that we feel the actual number of Trades posted that can be reviewed and discussed will be small.

I don't think 1KT Members feel it is pre-requisit to post Trade Calls. At least, I know I don't.

There are very few Traders actively Trading that have a history of Forex prior to 2003..., For that reason there are a lot of Traders who will not have entered 1000 Trades, the amount that have entered 1000 trades that have a winning ratio will be even smaller. The

Requisit was not 1K FX Trades. Merely 1K Trades.

Yes, it follows Technical rules, all Markets do, but most Forex Traders just have not been able to spend enough time experiencing the Swings and Cycles of the Market. We feel that leads to a real need to start posting trades that others can learn from, rather than debate who qualifies.

This would certainly be a domain that I would grasciously bow to your greater wisdom.

The quicker the posts go up, the quicker the learning curve begins, Traders; let's stop talking about it, and let's start posting Trade Ideas.

Seriously, I am not only looking forward to this, I am looking forward to studying your reasoning. That in itself warrants my Vouch and I will do so when finished this post.

Let's go to work eh?

Hi LFB Team,

First off let me state publicly that I just vouched for LFB after reading this post!

I am very glad that the "voting/vouching" process was still open as of this writing.

I too am hopeful that actual trades will be posted and "put out" there for learning and debate. For All.

I look forward to all whom have been "tapped" to "walk the walk, as well as talk the talk".

"Putting it out there"....I think this is what the new arena of FF should be all about. Best way I can see for helping ALL, myself included.

At least there is someone that sees the importance of market motion and cycles and rhythm and not just 1000 trades. I live papertraded for 2 years doing well over 1000 trades but not on a real live account. In these 2 years I studied the rhythm, motion and emotion of the market. All trades was seen as important. I tried various methods and strategies till I found something that works for me. My target is 100-150 pips per month( as I cannot trade during London session and first 2 hours of Us session due to working conditions) and I have obtain that for the last 8 months. Only making 4-6 trades per month.
I agree. Lets get something real on the table. Time will bring seperation and bonding. I cant wait to see the real qualifiers in action. I definitely want to learn from them.

Tomorrow is NFP, the single most important piece of employment data. I would never miss trading this volatile news item. The problem is the past several releases have been slow and lack the whippy conditions that i thrive in. I still make my pips, but find it more difficult to really clean up.

Here is what is on my mind prior to NFP:

Most everyone is positioned short USD.
Most expect the NFP number to be horrible.
Most think ADP number was a prelude of bad things to come.
Most no longer fear the carry trade. Short memory.
Most feel confident being long anything against the USD.

I always think outside of the box, but not against the price action. I will be watching closely to see if I can catch some of these traders off guard if we get a good NFP number. It's not likely the number will be good so the chances of getting a trade in this direction is low.

I will wait on the release. Watch the price action & hope to catch some people on the wrong side of the trade. It should be interesting to see if the market already factored in a bad number or if this be the straw that breaks the camels back.

That's rather interesting,as MG at least had a retail platform since around 97, on this side of the pond.
