Any ideas on the last 1D frame candle? For me it looks like its Close to an Evening Star formation. So mostly the market will go down in monday/tuesday on my perspective.

We can do any kind of analysis, but variables like war and Trump's posts are hard to predict, and a weekend like this would make me very nervous if I had an open position

yeap i've seen this pattern too, but trump making mistakes in this weekend so gold need more little retracement before going bullish again, maybe we can hit 4500 first.

This is the chart that really matters. Gold is a non yielding asset.
During "normal" times, USD and the 10Yr Bond yield pretty much track each other closely while Gold tends to be inversely correlated to both, especially to yields. Notice where we are now. USD is much lower than the 10 Year Yield (anomaly 1) and Gold much higher than USD (anomaly 2). To return to historical equilibrium, two things can happen:

1- Yields come down substantially to the USD level and Gold drops under both.
2- USD comes up to the 10 Year yield level and Gold drops substantially.

Now, with inflation much too high and the mess in Hormuz, who is willing to bet that yields are going to be dropping any time soon?
It is much more likely that USD will rise to the yield level and Gold will drop to its historical 3rd place level.
Where should Gold be right now? I believe 3400 is the magic number.

if tomorrow price closes below 4020
i would expect less for bullish momentum
till then iam expecting upward movement

YESSS! , ACCORDING TO MY ANALYSIS TOO, I GENERALLY LOOK AT GOLD CYCLES (4 AND 8 YEARS) AND BASED ON THAT , FROM EARLY THIS YEAR MY HYPOTHESIS WAS IT IS GOING TO DROP IN RANGE OF AROUND 3400-3500 RANGE (around mid september to early October) BEFORE MAKING A NEW HIGH . TILL THEN IT WILL ZIGZAG MAKING A HIGH AND LOW (TILL 3400-3500)

Yes this will never end now, market will react less to them and one day out of the blue Trump will chicken out like they did in Afghanistan, When they wont see any profit from keeping this uncertainty. For now countries around the region are buying arms from US because of these threats once they realise these are baseless and stop buying US will just chicken out.
