Bro, how do you plan to make money (more profits as you say) from the markets when you don't know what's making it move? What moves markets, ain't it volatility? What brings about volatility, ain't it news? Unless you're talking about the short intra-session moves that even don't require bias compatibility, then fundamentals are more important than your technicals. If you ignore news, you'll just be seeing price ignoring your technical levels, then soon or later you'll ditch your system saying it doesn't work, for another...and another.

all the technicals, graphs, indicators or whatever crap we can use go to the toilet if Warsh announces a rate spike, even if he suggests one...
the same applies to any big news or change in fundamentals.
It´s stupid to trade gold if you don't know the relationship with T yields, monetary policy, inflation, and so on....
news are very important. The same applies to the dumbs who trade stocks without knowing how to read a balance sheet or look at the Q reports.
