TRADING BOT DEVELOPMENT BASICS:

a trading bot indicator has one primary function: it tells you if you should be long or short or neutral... and it MUST BE ACCURATE.

if it cant do that, it is useless as an indicator.

the job of a trading bot or EA is to programmatically read the signal from the indicator and then to open or close trades based on what that signal is.

it has immense lag, but maybe a more "realtime" verison exists
but it's not a grail by all means

You don't even know how this works, and you dare to give advice???
EA does not open or close trades!!!
EA sends price requests to the broker's server based on its internal algorithm.
The broker fills those requests, or not, and also the broker can fill those requests at any price.
So, no, you are totally wrong about the function of an Expert Edvisor in MT5 or MT4.

Correct. Waveletes describe what something is, but not what something will be.
If the thing being described is always the way it is, then waveletes can be useful.
When dealing with price fluctations, we can only use wavelets to describe what already was.
And isn't that what all indicators basically do? (I don't mean plotting tools)
They calculate past data - and that's it, that's all they can ever do.
No indicator can ever know anything about the future.

PS. And this also means that no indicator can accuratelly do the following:

PPS. And that's why it's called "speculation on price fluctuations".
You can invest in realestate, or in stocks.
But in this sorts of "trading", you are actually betting on the direction the price will move in some future time..
And this is a totally unfair game, because the reward is not set, and the loss is also not set.
