Im starting a long holiday period so I will be trading at mobile. No M1 for me in few months so I will switch to stochs M15 trading. I will keep trading and watchin your trades on both threads.

I will answer to the question:

After studying successful traders in depth—especially Ghbdr—I found a common thread: all of these traders stay in control. It doesn’t matter if the day ended in the red. Did you stick to your plan? Did you stay in control, or did you lose your cool? If you lost your cool at any point, you traded poorly—even if your day turned out to be profitable. To sum it up . Stay in control. Control is the key word!!!

In it to win it

Lower highs, trendline fakeout - respecting wicks to the left and then respecting the trendline again.
Made me buy heavy on this move - Did manage to get in with some more positions - But was a hustle - but be to breakeven at 0.25 dollar make or break

The price action today is shit, it kinda does what I expected but in a jiffy way - so this move turned the day from bad day - to a massive big day.

- first step: if a trader trades 500 lots on gold and the price moves 10$ in the right direction, how much is the profit?
- next: assuming the trader places everyday just one trade of 500 lots, the price moves 10$ in the right direction and he trades 200 days per year, how much is the annual profit?

I know what you’re getting at, but I think you’re missing an important part of the picture.
If you take the time to look through ghbdr’s posting history, you’ll see that this isn’t someone who suddenly appeared claiming to trade 500 lots. He has been trading gold and discussing essentially the same approach for many years.
In his older posts, he was trading smaller lot sizes, then increased step by step. At one point, he even took about six months away from Forex Factory with the goal of scaling from 50 to 100 lots. When he returned, he had achieved that goal. That shows a gradual progression over years, not someone jumping from one strategy to another or making unrealistic claims overnight.

Of course, nobody here can verify his account size or profits with certainty. Healthy skepticism is fine. But it’s also important to look at the full context before dismissing someone’s results.

Not everyone in this market is a small retail trader forever. Some traders do build their accounts over many years and eventually trade very large position sizes. In the professional trading world, accounts worth a few million dollars are certainly not unheard of.

I’d encourage you to concentrate on learning and contribute constructively rather than assuming the worst.
