Gold Outlook and trade setup for 29th June 2026
Price gave breakout above the level of 4045 on Friday & has retested the level of 4097 which is acting as an immediate resistance for the gold, if broken we can consider taking long positions, 4035 is acting as immediate support and price trying to find some strength at that level.
Trendlines should be noticed, bearish trendline broken on Friday and now it seems like price is respecting bullish trendline, price might retest the bullish trendline before showing it's continued up-move.
summary: Mostly sideways move is expected, Wait for breakout for fresh entries. Cautious selling.

Market bears and sellers are in clear control of the XAU/USD (Gold) market today, June 30, 2026. The precious metal is facing aggressive selling pressure, pushing prices down to a new year-to-date low of $3,942.50 during intraday trading as it heavily tests the psychologically critical $4,000 threshold.
The fundamental and macroeconomic forces dictating today's price action include:

Because the broader daily trend is bearish, the area just above $4,030 remains an excellent location to look for institutional selling exhaustion.
Execution Zone: Wait for the price to push into $4,030 – $4,035. Enter a short position only if shorter timeframes (M5/M15) show immediate rejection signals like long upper wicks, a double top, or a sharp bearish engulfing candle closure.
Stop Loss (SL): Place strictly at $4,042 (safely above the local structural ceiling).

So Guys, if you check the last Analysis I posted, I went short since price failed to break above @4035 I will now wait to see how far we go to TP or I take profit Manually depending on what I see on my Trading System.

If the price holds above $4,012, bulls can build a base for another leg up. Guys if you follow when I posted above, You can see we did not break above @ $4,035 and It went short as predicted and first TP hit our target at @ $4015

The push back to $4,031 has officially breached the $4,030 threshold, putting the market directly into the core daily double-top liquidity pool ($4,030–$4,035). While short-term buyers are currently driving the tape, the broader daily macro trend remains heavily controlled by bears. The next few 5-minute and 15-minute candle closures are critical to determining whether this move will turn into a retail bull trap or a true short-squeeze breakout.
The drop from the $4,031 liquidity sweep down to $4,022 shows that institutional sellers successfully defended the session high. The market is now sitting in no-man's-land, precisely halfway between the intraday ceiling ($4,031–$4,035) and the core support floor ($4,012–$4,015).
