Hello my friend, working on a mt4 version hopefully will have it done by this afternoon my time.

This is a mt4 version, noticed none of the Apirine adaptive ema's were working in the mt5 version so fixed those and changed them out in the mt4 version as well. Also added one new mt5/mt4 Apirine type fast ema.

Added about 12 more harmonic price types to the price options on these 2 versions.

This is a dynamic zone step mfi with price smoothing if desired. Coloring is when the fast step ma crosses the mfi and arrows and alerts are when fast step ma crosses the slow step ma.

Theory:
The commodity channel index (CCI) is an oscillator originally introduced by Donald Lambert in 1980. It is calculated as:
(price - average) / (0.015 * mean absolute deviation)
This version:
In this version we are adding (changing) the following:

1. option to change the mean absolute deviation to:
   1. standard deviation
   2. ATR (average true range)

   
   
   

2. option to chose to smooth the value of such a "CCI"
3. option to change color on zero crosses or on slope direction change

What is the same as in regular CCI (if smoothing is not used):
- the crosses of the zero line will always be exactly the same as in regular CCI (regardless if you use ATR or standard deviation for calculation)
What is different :
- levels are not going to be the same (that will eventually need adjustments if you are used to use levels when using CCI for trading decisions)
- slope of the CCI is not going to be the same

Usage:
You can use the color changes for signals.

Added some more cci mean absolute deviation choices and this version uses Donchian channel instead of levels. Also posted Mladen's mt5 version.

Vital Apirine Adaptive EMA (AEMA) Explained
The Adaptive Exponential Moving Average (AEMA) is a technical indicator developed by Vitali Apirine that adapts the smoothing of a standard EMA based on the relative position of the current close price within the recent high–low range.
How It Works

1. Core idea: Like the Kaufman Adaptive Moving Average, AEMA adjusts its smoothing constant depending on how close the close is to the high or low of the lookback period.
2. Smoothing constant:
   1. If the close is near the high, the smoothing is reduced (more weight to recent prices).
   2. If the close is near the low, the smoothing is increased (more smoothing to avoid noise).

3. Formula (simplified):
   ssc = mltp × (fastAlpha − slowAlpha) + slowAlpha
   where mltp is the normalized distance from high/low, and fastAlpha/slowAlpha are the standard EMA smoothing constants for fast and slow periods.

Key Features

1. Dynamic smoothing: Adapts to market volatility — tighter ranges (high volatility) get more smoothing, wider ranges (low volatility) get less smoothing.
2. Trend-following: Works similarly to a standard EMA but with adaptive responsiveness.
3. Crossover trading: Often used with a regular EMA of the same length to generate double crossover signals:
   1. Long: AEMA crosses up the EMA.

4. Multiple lengths: Can be applied with different lookback periods for different timeframes or strategies.

Practical Use

1. Strategy setup: Plot both the AEMA and a standard EMA on the same chart. Use the crossover points as entry/exit triggers.
2. Multi-timeframe analysis: Use different AEMA lengths for higher/lower timeframes to confirm trend direction.
3. Volatility adaptation: In choppy markets, AEMA’s adaptive smoothing can reduce whipsaws compared to a fixed EMA.

Tip: For best results, combine AEMA with other indicators (e.g., RSI, volume) to filter entries and manage risk.
In short, AEMA is a volatility-adaptive EMA that smooths more in high-volatility conditions and less in low-volatility conditions, making it a flexible tool for trend-following strategies.

Added kind of DEMA calculation option to the Aema's which make them a little bit faster. Indicator has 44 price options now and is mtf.
