Update: I have taken a fresh short position in GU. Risk is defined with a 20-pip stop loss and a 45-pip target. just following the plan and managing risk.

DXY has reached a key resistance zone around 101.56. If buyers can maintain control and push toward the 102.60-102.70 area, the bearish case for EUR/USD could remain intact, while GBP/USD may have further room to fall.
My initial view was for roughly 200 pips of downside. Around 50 pips of that move has already played out, which, unfortunately, I largely missed due to my own stupidity and lack of execution. That's part of the game.
What comes next will depend on how price reacts around these levels.

EUR/USD still looks fairly bearish to me, but I'm not entirely sure about GBP/USD yet. My position is already at break even, so there's no risk on the table.
One thing I've learned about GU over the years: it can spend hours looking sleepy and doing absolutely nothing, then suddenly remember it's GBP/USD and cover an entire week's worth of movement in a few hours.

DXY continues to push higher and is showing impressive strength. The break above the 101.56 area has held so far, and if this momentum continues, a move toward 102.70 doesn't seem out of the question.
The big question now is whether this is the beginning of another bearish phase for EUR/USD and GBP/USD. I'm not sure yet, but the dollar is behaving like a machine gun at the moment, firing nonstop. The only thing I don't know is how much ammo it has left.
For now, I'll keep following price. If DXY keeps building on this strength, EU and GU could still have more downside ahead.
