FxArt.Trader – Trading Journal

This thread is my personal trading journal.
Its main purpose is to archive and organize my trading results and track my own progress.
Trades may be shared individually or as grouped results (daily or weekly), depending on conditions and my workload.
I simply hope to be able to keep these updates consistent over time.

My preference is to learn more and continuously improve my own trading process.

I’m not here to teach anything. I prefer to stay silent rather than unintentionally lead others down a wrong path, because in my view trading is not only about strategy — it is also closely related to personality and mindset.
Besides, everything I know is already being taught widely; there are thousands of YouTube channels covering the same topics, and many threads on this forum discussing them as well. I have no interest in repeating what others have already explained far better than I ever could in English. If you read further, you’ll find keywords you can search for and explore on YouTube yourself.

What I share here is purely my personal experience.
I am not giving advice, nor defending any particular concept.
This is simply the path I have taken. I have tried to learn something from various Smart Money–related approaches, and I’m still interested in learning new things.
I started my journey with Persian educational materials and watched some content related to RTM, ICT, and SNR.
When I became familiar with ITC, I tried watching videos from his YouTube channel. I only watched two or three videos, but even from those I genuinely learned something and I’m grateful for that.
I didn’t continue watching mainly because my English wasn’t strong enough at the time, and YouTube’s Persian subtitles were not very reliable. I was concerned that continuing might lead to misunderstandings, which could turn into bad trading habits — and unlearning bad habits is far more costly, especially in financial markets.

If you have negative opinions about Smart Money, ITC, or related concepts, please keep them to yourself.
I respect anyone I can learn something from, and I’m not interested in discussing negative personal experiences others may have had.

At the moment, based on what I’ve learned from free educational resources and YouTube channels, I mainly use the following concepts:
Zones(OB, Sup/Dem, Sup/Res) / Kill Zones / FVG
I occasionally test new ideas on the chart as well, but for now, these are the main tools I’m using.

This is published for my own awareness and to review where and how I started. I want the path I have traveled to be archived here for myself in some way.
Unfortunately, due to the war conditions, I haven't had internet access for 5 months, and there was absolutely no opportunity to trade. Nevertheless, today I started practicing with a demo account.
Unfortunately, because the internet disconnects in the middle of open trades, making trade management difficult, I am refraining from trading on a real account for now.
My goal is to bring this demo account to a desirable point.
Therefore, disregarding the points mentioned above, I can say my performance wasn't very good today. Sure, it was my first day of trading after a long time, but there were some moments I could have managed better in hindsight. However, today still ended with a profit.
Of course, the performance wasn't great at the beginning of the day, but gradually, it improved over time. Unfortunately, I also missed many opportunities and had a few trades outside my strategy, which were managed well, and some weaknesses were addressed through hedging.
In the coming days, I need to focus better on entry and exit points and try to lock in my profits faster.

این جهت اطلاع خودم و بازنگری این که از کجا و چطوری شروع کردم منتشر میشه، میخوام که مسیری که طی کردم برای خودم به نوعی اینجا آرشیو بشه

متأسفانه 5 ماه هست که به خاطر شرایط جنگی دسترسی به اینترنت نداشتم و اصلاً شرایط ترید کردن وجود نداشت اما با این حال امروز با یک حساب دمو شروع کردم به تمرین
متأسفانه به خاطر این که اینترنت وسط معاملات باز قطع میشه و مدیریت ترید رو سخت میکنه، از ترید روی حساب ریل فعلاً خوداری میکنم

هدف ام اینه که این حساب دمو رو به یک نقطه مطلوب برسونم

برای همین بدون در نظر گرفتن موارد بالا میتونم بگم عملکردم زیاد خوب نبود امروز، درسته بعد از مدت ها اولین روز تریدم بود اما یک جاهایی رو بیاد بهتر مدیریت میکردم اما با این حال فعلاً امروز با سود تموم شد

البته ابتدای روز عملکرد زیاد خوب نبود اما رفتهرفته با گذشت زمان عملکرد بهتر شد
متأسفانه فرصت های زیادی رو هم از دست دادم و چند ترید خارج از استراتژی داشتم که به خوبی مدیریت شد و با هج کردن برخی از ضعف ها برطرف شد

باید روز های آینده با تمرکز بهتری روی نقاط ورود و خروج بزارم و سعی کنم سریع تر سود خودم رو سیو کنم

Unfortunately, the internet has been unstable over the last few days. These interruptions have reduced my motivation to keep recording and documenting my trades.
I'm not sure whether the situation will be stable in the coming days or not.
Anyway, I wasn't able to record my trading activity for 2026-06-17.
It was actually a very good day in terms of news events. The news provided great trading opportunities, and within two days I managed to grow a $100 account to $600. However, there were also some negative aspects.
Unfortunately, being away from the market and not trading for a while has caused some of my bad trading habits to return, which is not good at all.
Although the account grew from $100 to $600 in just two days, those same bad habits caused the account equity to drop by nearly 50% at one point. This is something that has been on my mind a lot and has made me think seriously about my trading approach and how I should continue moving forward.

Over the past few days, I've been a bit undecided about which path to invest my time and money in.
One idea was to take a small account, such as $100 or $1,000, and try to grow it into a much larger account.
The other idea was to trade under strict rules, similar to prop firm requirements. For example, never allowing the account equity to drop more than 5% in a single day.
I've decided to put the first idea aside and focus on the second one.
The second approach is more realistic. It may not be as exciting, but in real trading there's a good chance we wouldn't be able to trade the same way we would with the first approach. When real money is involved, we naturally become more cautious. The second approach is based on gradual growth and clear principles, so it feels much closer to real-world trading.
I also need to make some major changes to my trading process. While I'm profitable and currently have an 83% win rate, some trades are becoming stressful to manage and are taking too much time and attention. I'd rather exit losing trades more quickly and trade in a way that requires the least possible amount of management time.
I just hope I can trade without having to worry about internet issues.
