Using VP alone may not be a better idea...U may make use of it bt if u align it with other tools such as CVD, Big trades, Footprint chart or VWAP then u can increase the accuracy of it.
Bt as u asked...most of the time price tries to stay within VAH and VAL... becoz that's the fair price area. POC tends to be zone where price usually consolidates. Until I don't see some aggressive participants coming into the market I try sell arnd VAH and buy arnd VAL but U must also attach the context of the markt to it..like ur market str...or whether u r tring to go for continuation or reversal or retracement. take use of fundamentals. For finding bias if generally price is below PD VP VAH and OV VAH and usually in the lower zone then I try to sell from POC after taking confirmations from other tools and vice versa.

One more thing to add if u r getting confused arnd POC then for now just try to trade arnd VAH nd VAL..Trade breakouts, or reversal arnd these zone...take of LVN and HVN.

One thing I've seen is that if you don't have context and you are just trying to take mean reversions everywhere then it can be a bad thing....like these Monday - Wednesday we are mostly ranging on bigger timeframes like a bigger range but if you try to enter anywhere rather then the extremes then you'll have way worse winrate and way worse RR factor ...
So moral of story is learn when to use POC and when to trade EXTREMES...(VAL and VAH)
Because in ranges the value areas give better trades and in expansionary markets the retracemnt towards the poc gives a better trade
All this is just my personal experience don't blame me if you lose all your money

It was a short scalp below 30524 as it was PD VAL and I went for short becoz overall trend was bearish at shorter timeframe and price took rejction from that zone with sellers came agressively...
