I just came in to say thank you once again.

I took some time out to detox myself from short timeframe trading.
You always cautioned that this system works best on higher timeframe, ideally, H4. You were also kind enough to create the MTF version. Thank you.
Now I trade H1 off H4. The trades are much more reliable with no noise.

After extensive testing on demo, I'm starting slowly on small live account and really beginning to see the value of this system.

nice idea to place 2 time frames side by side. but how do you monitor multiple couples? do you always wait for the alert before opening the pair chart?

Well, I think it is time that I share my setup.

I use 2 accounts.

Account 1: I have all Forex pairs and some other stuff present. All charts are closed down. When I get a signal from a pair, then I open that pair and check the signal. If I like it, then I invest and I keep the chart open until it has exited.

I have the SL21 to give me alerts on each pair. That is the signal that paint the arrows. You can chose what you want. 51 might be good for you - or the RSIOMA. Or maybe all of them. That depends on your strategy.

To get signals from SL21 open the RTE DATA file that has 21 in the field "MA_Period" at the setup menu, set the AlertsOn to true. Also true on the message. And you can set Notify to true, then you can get the signal on your phone.



Now you need to switch off all other alerts in the other files. You have to investigate which files they are in.

How I make this multi is quite smart. I will show that in next post.

This is my trading chart right now. I have invested in 5 pairs as you see.

Account 2:

Here I have 3 timeframes. And I can switch between all 28 pairs and some more. The 3 charts KEEP the timeframe when I switch pair and the switch on pair is done on ALL Charts on the screen. This way it is easy to scroll between pairs.

Whenever I get a signal from the Account 1 as shown at post 1,785, then I watch the behavior on the different timeframes at account 2. I always trade in the direction of the daily. And most times I trade on H4.

The instrument switcher is the RJDashboard_3. Note that it is coded as an EA - NOT an Indicator. It was made by the profile CJA. One of the giants here at FF. I changed it so that it keeps the timeframe when I change pairs but change the selected pair on all charts on the screen at the same time. I have not seen that function anywhere else, so I am a bit proud of having made that.

When you switch pair it is a bit slow. That is because some instruction in the code reload all data when showing the new chart. You have to live with that.

Note, that if the 2 accounts you use is from different brokers, then there might be differences in the price action.

As a last note I can tell, that I use the same setup but with Williams Alligator. I use another profile for that purpose. I like this as a nice confluense to the Guppy. But that is not allowed in this thread, so I will not show it and not comment that further.

By the way, I use two different accounts because I can then have the two setups at two different screens and that way have them present at the same time.
