Hi guys,
I have just opened an account with IC Markets. EU, but I am not sure I am going to fund it yet.
Something strange is happening, and so far they don’t seem able to properly address the issue.
I would like to know, IF YOU ARE WITH IC Markets EU, what spreads you are getting on EUR/JPY at a special time of the day.
I opened a RAW account because I wanted interbank-style spreads + commission, but I am seeing something very unusual.
Every evening, around 30 minutes before rollover, the spread on EUR/JPY suddenly becomes fixed at 15 pips, which is 150 points on MT4. It does not change at all. It stays fixed like that until around 30 minutes after rollover, then it disappears and the spread goes back to normal.
So basically, I get a fixed 15-pip spread for about 2 hours every night.
I have been trading forex for 20 years and I have never seen anything like this on a RAW/ECN-type account.
it's not my MT4 cause it's the same on the phone...
Has anyone else noticed the same thing with IC Markets EU, especially on EUR/JPY 30 minute before rollover?
important precision it's for me at 22:30 french time (GMT+1) .
thank you.
