Hey everyone! hope your all doing well
Back again, haven't been around much the last two weeks.
Zappa, I'm making good progress with my reading, I even picked up the latest one that came out a few days ago.The stories are crazy and i learn a lot, indeed.

Well, the orange guy seems to have delivered on his promises from a few centuries ago.
Let's hope this will help the expected correction. im already long too Olu but with a little bit more risk as usual in view of the situation,I hope things will pick up a bit.
A separate statement if that is permitted: Last week I went long at $155 SPCX sl at 150$ on hyperliquid with equity this time, hoping it is worth it, I've always admired Elon, this is the first time I've exposed myself to his work.I haven't really worked on the position, honestly, I just have the feeling that everything he does excels. I've allocated a very small portion of my equity and it's a bit of a gamble that I allow myself.

Last week it was like BTC, and all the others, were slowing down, like they'd been drained. Some say it's related to SPCX; do you think that's possible? Or is it just a wait-and-see situation to see how the price war plays out?
I'm currently exploring Coinglass for all the BTC data, and some figures can really help to understand what's coming next. I wasn't familiar with it; does anyone else here do the same?

The new day's candle has not been anything to write home about despite the stock market ploughing on.
I normally suspect dojis in an downtrend retracement as a possible continuation move to the downside.
However I cant act on that for now because:

  1. The candle has not closed yet
  2. We have not gone through the NY session

However, I am eyeing this current low for profit preservation.

I understand. Nonetheless I gained after two TP’s hit the line and I’m waiting for the last TP to hit 70k (although I’m not sure if it will hit today) Buy Stop really helped me with the automation and stuff (newbie here). Thank you for your help, guys! It makes my trading life easier and profitable.

68 is a key point in my opinion too, in any case if we get through it without flinching it moves quite a lot of things the next level being around 72.

I agree, $68,000 is a crucial point. The POC of daily (with an OB ) is around $67,500, so once that's passed, we can expect a return to $70,000 or even $72,000, or a retest.

Agreed. My considerations were retracement, 38.2% fib first and strong downtrend.
I would love this to go even higher - as long as I am in it

Clean inverse hammer on the hourly. Some would call it the basis of CRT etc
If this was gold or the stock market I would have gone short but bitcoin can move 500$ without committing to a direction - up or down
Stops tightened though.

But this can be dangerous Setting it up at the very moment of an action is fine, but too far in advance, it might just be a fake out, guaranteeing a sl. I personally stopped using them, or only use them rarely and a few hours/minutes in advance, depending on the situation and PA.
This is just my opinion, I'm probably doing it wrong too. Maybe it would work better if I placed it better.

Point taken. It’s should be taken care with due diligence. But, so far post here were timely and accurate especially the BULLISH remarks and the 70k (althought it didnt hit that number yet but I have multiple trades leading to 70k)

I didn't find it too bad.
I enter the trade live at the computer, set the size direction, sl and tp and then walk away as it was usually a 4h or a daily chart (br based on them anyway).
That is my understanding of stop trading.
Many times I am in a trade and price gets to the mental tp but retraces.
I get back to my laptop and I want to drive over the laptop in anger (just joking)

You are doing well.
Trading styles will be as personal and different as our fingerprints I believe.
2 traders can be given the same methodology and you will be amazed at the differences in implementation

Thank you for the kind words. Still learning tho since I just started learning crypto/forex trading, but because of this forum and you guys, it felt easier compared to my past weeks of trading lol

Ah yes, my mistake, I work the same way. I thought I understood that it was taking positions with stops, not delimiting them with stops! Indeed, in that sense there's less emotion involved, but I still always end up closing them too late or too early, and also to drive over the laptop.
