The EUR/USD rose above the 1.1590 resistance turned support level after the open and reached 1.1617, fueled by better sentiment surrounding a peace deal between the US and Iran. For now, the pair holds short term upside momentum, scoping for a move toward 1.1645 if 1.1617 gives way. However, if 1.1590 fails to hold, the pair is expected to retrace and test the lower support zone at 1.1465/55.

Most probable historical for the USD index is to close the gap after volatility hits near the London or US open. So buying at high prices is really dangerous right now.

accordin tf H8, price has moved after the news on IRAN-US deal with inertia due the empty volumetric of asian session as VROC(25) has printed, to the upside the historical POC @1,1650 can be seen again, the cluster around it is well guarded by bears, let see if they give up. My bias remains bearish anyway.

Dollar still has the upper hand for now, but I’m not trying to marry the move. If EUR/USD keeps dropping after the headline drama fades, then maybe DXY is actually telling the truth.

On the EURUSD pair, the price broke the resistance level at 1.1593 during its upward movement and consolidated above it. The resistance level at 1.1664 could be the target for a continued upward movement.
