I asked for the mysterious black/blue to be changed like you see below:

Okay, the main item you'll need to watch for is where colors switch from black to blue and vice versa. However, there are circumstances where the same color stretch over more than one candle, especially in a strong trend. You will also notice that an upturn will be always in blue and down always in black.

I accept that all of it is not available to you but you can still watch for the white/green/purple combo turning from a flat level.

Study the chart above and check how the colors turn in almost all cases within the body of the candle and then slip out into a color change.
