I agree 100%.
The downmove is slowing though and I expected more downside that this in the light of the fall in the NAS100.
Buy the way guys, I broke my own rule today. Sold bitcoin and sold the NAS100.
Worked out today but really it is like taking on more risk as bitcoin correlates to the nasdaq - most times

If the stock market continues to be weak we could see 60.2k today

Indeed there is new news. Trump threatening to respond to the shooting down of US Apache helicopter.
Bitcoin behaving erratically. I expected more downside. Instead got a firming up of price a bit.
I am flat everything now for today

Laying on a small short here with a tight stop
I will start to get comfortable if the immediate low is taken out.
If the red line is taken out this trade idea has failed although I might close it before then

Price touched the last low and bounced off it.
It is trying to print a doji candle off the area right now.
Will sell on any strength observed.
We have serious US data to be released today.
This data can modify trader thinking going forward because it determines or at least adds to the argument whether interest rates in the US are going up soon or now.
So I am keeping an eye on things closely...

Kicked out as well from tightened stops.
The data was good for the markets and the stock markets are up nicely.
It did not add to the urgency to increase US interest rates.
So we are back to other fundamentals like the war and trader euphoria about the IPO with a bit of the interest rates in the background
As bitcoin, sometimes, is a pseudo-tech product coupled with oversold conditions it went up
I am still bearish but will take a long if I feel it is tradable

Me taking an EW stab at the bitcoin daily chart. I am not an EW guru but I like simple and clean interpretations
I am looking for new lows then a bigger retracement and then a final downdraft.
One thing that I didnt show is if the red wave 4 is not done yet.
If that is true price should turn upwards from near here without breaking the current low.
Then we will 66k area.
I will still be looking lower till price proves otherwise.

Look at bitcoin go!
Right after I have been knocked out of my long.
I am leaving 'long' right now and concentrating on shorts
There should be a tradable wash to the downside imo.
As I type NAS100 is up 400+ points cementing the correlation - for now bitcoin is like a nasdaq stock
So any turn down in the NAS100 bitcoin will accelerate downwards
That is the premise I am working with right now.
EDIT:
Closing above 64.3k is more ammunition for the bulls.
But let us see. Levels mean nothing until broken.
Important data coming out today at UK 1.30pm
