My analysis, which i hope is good because i'm kinda new in this game. Overall, my bias is bearish. I'm expecting a retracement to the marked levels before continuing down to 4100.

Maybe we are just at the beginning of the distribution phase (power of three strategy) of a big deal between the US and Iran (brokered by the Russia and China, who probably negotiated their cut. Zelenskyy's letter on Friday might show Ukraine might have been, at least partially, what Russian asked for.) The end result could be oil going down to 70 (the price just before the US-Iran war) or even lower (e.g. 60- if Ukraine war is ended and Russia can sell its oil and gas without sanctions) and dxy also goes all the way down, putting significant upward pressure on gold. The gold will go up as long as dxy or oil go down. So, maybe open a buy position when gold clears 4350 and close that position when oil reaches near 70 (say 72).

Both took me about a week each but I’ve passed other accounts before typically 1-3 weeks per phase this account I was kinda lucky to get A++ setups cus those are not always there. Despite max drawdown of 10% and daily of 5% I still risk 1% of total account. Not everyone does it this way a lot prefer to risk 1% of total drawdown but everyone’s risk appetite is different.

Damn, nice. I've been trying for over 3 months now, was in 2% profit. Overtraded last couple of days and now down 3%.

Hi RayC. My profile is similar to yours. My purpose is not to debate with other members either but I always find myself attacked when I project my predictions. I have learned not to dwell on that topic. As for squaring markets, although I did study Mr. Gann's work, I apply my own system, the result of so many failures that we all suffer. I cannot reveal my strategy because today banking technology is lurking, something very surprising from my perspective. Trading against specific participants while being able to make profits every day simply by pushing the market is at least gratuitous evil. English is not my first language either and I have understood you perfectly. cheers

As long as you’re surviving you’re already likely in top 20%. And you’re building the best experience you possibly can right now. I say this because in contrary to the majority of traders I don’t really believe in demo trading. It’s good for testing out different strategies and analysis but not the overall complete package imo. You’re not in the right mindset when demo trading because there’s inherently no risk and no pressure.

With funded accounts/challenges you get to be put in the mindset of having “real money” at risk but without having to put up all of the inherent capital. So it kinda lets you feel like managing big money without as big of a risk while simultaneously improving your mental framework. The trade off is just the account fees which could be a lot or a little depending on the starting capital.

I’d also like to add a fair warning for you and any others. Beware of GoatFunded. They have this stupid rule where your first 2 payouts you must not request an amount exceeding $10k. I wasn’t aware of this when I withdrew my funds and so I requested a total in the amount of around $18k. And they basically skimmed the remaining $8k away from me saying that it’s against the rules and I can’t get it back in payment nor have it put back into the initial capital. And if you thought that was scummy, they also have a $3k/day cap on profit to which they said I made around $5400 so they skimmed an additional $2.4K from me disregarding the fact that there was a $3k loss that day so the actual daily profit was $2400 not $5400 lol so beware

Excellent reply, just the motivation I needed. You're absolutely right, I started with a Demo account at first and wasn't serious at all. With funded its much more psychological. I was actually in profit for the last month following the rules but this month I traded before the NFP news and lost 1%, recovered the 1% with overtrading but greed got the best of me, broke my trading rules and that 1% loss turned to 3%. Just need to be more disciplined and patient.

Gold H1 Analysis
Gold has broken down aggressively from the descending channel resistance and confirmed a bearish market structure shift after losing the 4400-4420 support area. The sharp sell off created a new weak low around 4310 indicating strong selling pressure in the short term. Price may attempt a corrective pullback toward the broken support zone near 4380-4420 before sellers potentially step back in. As long as gold remains below the descending trendline and the retracement area 4419-4442 the overall bias remains bearish. A rejection from this supply zone could trigger another leg lower toward the 4250 and 4205 downside liquidity levels. However a sustained recovery above 4445 would weaken the bearish outlook and open the door for a deeper retracement toward 4480-4520.

Sell Zone: 4385-4425
Targets: 4320, 4250, 4205
Invalidation: H1-H4 close above 4450
