Day 9 results...

Through the first 8 days I achieved 48R that is around 6R a day and today (day 9) I got only 4 trades 1W/2L/1BE resulting in BE for the day so I am still at 48R for 9 days.

Day 10 results...

Today was a bit better we had 2W/1L/1BE resulting in a gain of 18R for the day.

The new running total is 66R ...not bad.

While going over the charts I am more and more confident about how these indicators work together with the settings I have made. The best change is setting all trades based off of 5 Pip SL for position size.

I don't get this with how you look at single position as 6:12 (which is actually the same as 1:2). Don't you think your results ("72R in 11 days") are misleading?

I don't think so because I am using 5pips to establish 1R and then a loss is 6R and a win is 12R

Hi! Thanks, seems interesting and I will be testing it on my own. I'm interested if it would be a valid setup when the Ptl207 indicator prints first - say it prints Red for short - followed by the repulse indicator printing red. Your setup was the other way around where you waited for the Ptl207 to confirm the repulse but today I observed Ptl207 signaling first and the repulse coming in red 3 candles later. This happened just above the previous day low which didn't hold and not long after that the price pushed down and at 4457 now.

I have made the rule that any PTL dot on a grey Repulse dot is not valid.

But please feel free to test this. Also I have observed that an opposite PTL dot soon after a repulse colour start may be a good idea to trade.

Here is a graph of the RR so far sitting at 84R currently.

First 8 days are combined then each consecutive day covers one day.

im trying to understand the logic of fib and the execution part. Video is explaining but Im getting confused with the R rations and the sl aspect. Would you be please able to share full top to bottom execution part.

Hi, no never quiet got there, there is some detail i could not get to the bottom of. I did create a custom tradingview version for the original Repulse indicator by
Eric Lefort. Ive been using a m1 version on the m1 chart but also an m15 version on the same chart. Its been giving great signals in confluence with a volume indicator and the PTL alerts mentioned by the OP.

The idea is (I think) unique to this thread. When a valid signal candle prints a trade is opened at the close. The position size has two components, first, all trades are based off of 10 pips and second, all trades are worth 2% of account (in the posted tests it is $100) this calculation gives us the 1R required to implement an actual SL/TP. Here is the formula.

The trade will close in one of three ways...at a SL based on -6R or a TP based on +12R and finally at BE if +6R is reached and price moves back to the entry price.

Hope this clears a few things up.
