As futures, I started with EUROSTOXX a couple decades ago, then after some years switched to DAX

Currently today and next week, you cant trade DAX futures SEPTEMBER (no liquidity, large spread), while JUNE futures are too risky and are on expiration mode next days....
so I have only DAX cfds or Eurostoxx future, so a limited arsenal Kilo!

I always hold 1 DAX CFD 24675 and I will hold into next week.

  1. I wrote the above post 1 week ago.....
  2. Obviously I had not and I havent crystal ball, but a continuos,unstoppable rise cant lasts forever.....
  3. so after 2 preparation days, today is the 1st serious sell off for the SOX from his ATH perfect for a typical friday sell off
  4. US SP500 has a decent support around 7440 zn, hit last minutes, then ther's a new hole till 7390 zn
  5. Bear in mind starting next monday US futures will be heavily involved on 1st of 2 rollover weeks, this is the game BigBoys will play!
  6. and today it's probably only a way to prepare the ground for their rollover games, imho

  1. I will not chase new trades or bottom into US close.It makes no sense at this time of the day, at this time of the week.....

  1. I will hold my DAX CFD 24675 into next week, so no additionals, no trades till next monday.

too late, no order was filled,
Monday morning (in Europe) will be probably a bloodbath also in Asia, unless some Trump surprise....
So we could buy the DAX at whatever price we wish....unfortunately!

I always hold my 24675 DAX CFD.....luckily I have already closed yd my bad positions well above 25k zn.....

  1. Pain trade is the tendency of financial markets to deliver/inflict substantial losses to as many traders as possible, at least in the short time.
  2. Bear in mind what happened last June 2025. DAX hit a top on June 5 and then collapsed for -1500 pts till mid June QUARTER futures/options expiration.
  3. Same happened, more or less, on June 2022, if I remember well.
  4. Starting tomorrow US futures will start their rollover job till friday 19 June, and current volatility explosion is perfect for this kind of job, I guess.
  5. European futures are more slow and lazy, usually concentraed only on last hours, excluded main FDAX future and EUROSTOXX future, already active.
  6. ECB rate decision on next thursday and then US FED meeting on June 17th will only add new fuel to current explosive scenario.

  1. DAX CASH INDEX R.T.H. left a gap open at 25060 zn last week and probably also at 24756 (last friday low)
  2. 1st possbile brake will be in the wide 24300/24500 zn, otherwise high chances to retest 23700 zn in case of panic selling

And in any case ther's so much liquidity into the markets for us, for retail traders on main worldwide Indices, DAX, EUROSTOXX included.
Evry order I placed has been filled always in few seconds/minutes dpending on price limit and without problems.

Sorry! I should've been much more clearer. I meant to question why you think the pain trades are often fridays + monday opening?
