Forex is not like stocks. It does not trade volume like stocks. It is an exchange of one currency's value for another globally and they are linked together. Around 97% of the quote unquote "order flow" is merely global business exchanging one currency for another with the central banks doing the exchange to collect a transaction fee going both ways regardless of the current rate. Its simply an exchange of one currency for another. Most of these 'trades' are never going to show up real time anyway. Similar to 'dark pool' trades on stocks that happen during market hours but get posted outside of the regular hours which also makes tools like 'VWAP' a completely fraudulent tool. Learning to read CURRENT PRICE ACTION is all anyone can do and even then just as they did last night many traders had the rug pulled.

i personaly don't trade forex using orderflow we usualy like to trade NQ and ES or GC sometimes and defineatly NOT forex using this system as forex is just completly decentralized and mostly traded between banks on phones

Lol.. no, but I'd gladly switch bank accounts! The only thing closely related is that we both had Schwab 'Cybertrader' brokerage accounts decades ago long before E trade went public. He's from NYC and I'm from Florida and I'm older than him.

orderflow is just a PART OF a trade ( confirmation)
there are like 4 other things to a trade (LOCATION CONTEXT TIME and EXICUTION)
if you think that orderflow (confirmation ) will make you profitable then you have to eat alot of sh*t in the market for sometime (as i did for some time)
we all have a profitbale stratagy we sometimes just don't have any sort of systems that handle the other things that DIRECTLY EFFECT THE TRADES we make


and for the trade recap what i saw was that market got alot of people into the longs in the london session and the buying done was a nice move too but when the price started to range and started generating liquidity on both sides and before 8am est market open market sweept the liqudiity and alot of people got into longs before 8am est but i didn't entered as i wanted to wait for the open and when market opened i saw it ran upto the highs where we strongly rejected off off the PUT SUPPORT 0DTE & HVL 0DTE and i saw on footprint that there were volume imbalances traped on the high and some general absorption,,,, with that i saw the m1 footprint where i saw aggressive market participents (sellers) enter ...i was seeing buyers get aggresive on vwap but once they got putted under water I enterd my short where my main entry was using 3 thing ABSORPTION AGGRESSION & DELTA FLIP

I am watching EUR/USD for Greed to over run Fear after the nasty fall. Anyone who does not understand that Forex Pairs are all linked just need to compare the EUR/USD with GBP/USD, NZD/USD, AUD/USD. They ALL look like a mirror image of each other this morning. I am waiting for an "Igniting Event" learned from Oliver Velez. He was the Original "Swing Trader" on Wall Street and coined the phrase. He used to hold classes for Brokerage Firms and teach his methods to Wall Street. After the internet was born he opened his own coaching and funding prop way before it became a common practice. "Narrow state, wide state, Position 1,2 or 3. Trifecta play. The 3 Finger Spread." All very simple approaches and teachable to anyone. The same stupid simple method that has made remarkable returns for decades.

thats a nice approach listening to it
fun thing that i made my first decent amount of money trading using SWING TRADING on currencies and OIL
so i have a pretty goood understanding of the profitabliltiy in swing trading

what i liked to do back some time ago to use fundamentals of 2 pairs and technical using a framework where i basicly found 2 pairs where one would lose value and one will gain value and then trade the pair directionaly those trades were high risk to reward but high pateince

keep us updated on you trades on EU and GU

and yah one thing i likeed to do was using teh correlatioon between these pairs and whenever they disalligned and looked towards trading that divergence

3 RR mean reversion play using absorption and aggression delta flips on footprint

Saw sellers get trapped and took this long after buyers stepped in

One lesson that I have learned today from monitoring is that even if you can monitize really small movements that have a very high chance of winning and can be turned into a repeatable system then they are a really good thing to make money from and your trades don't have to be very high RR or very big in terms of pips

It's the only approach I follow, in spite of going for a banger ones...go for some usual base hits. less tension, less emotional drama.
