Done for the session. I am trying to limit myself to 2 trades per session. Today I tilted a bit and went for 3rd trade, it might have gone well but it does not mean that I did great. Following rules and sticking to risk management is the no.1 key for me. And I did break them today. Will try harder from now on.

It was a good session for you actually
And you did well and limit your self to less trades that's for sure
But one thing I do is that less your risks on the first trade of the day so even it goes Bad You can have an extra try because first trade usually tells you if your whole analysis is right or wrong

U r right, the first gold trade was wrong and then I corrected my bias. I will do exactly as u told, risking half in first trade and then going to my alloted risk to others. I usually risk 0.3% to 0.5% of the capital. Maybe next time I will go for 0.2% on first then regular risk.

Not having any bias right now. Low volume in Gold, lot of big buyers came around the level of 4471 - 4469 but sellers remained strong and pushed price lower. Delta is bullish but price is not showing any strength. I am on sidelines till evening or maybe done for this week.

As for NQ, London could still push lower as delta is aligning with the bias but as Asia moved pretty good, not really interested in doing anything right now.

Closing my week right here. Made almost 8R this week. Good Enough

I was looking to take a long from this area but I got busy and went out from my setup and couldn't take the long let's see if I want to trade today or not

good trade idea but if you are trying to catch tops and bottoms you'll miss alot of trades

today's plan

TODAY IS FRIDAY either will see some complete BS thing happen on charts or we will not see anything at all

hope for the best prepare for the worst : thats why i'll be sizing down today and taking max 0.5% risk on a trade and no more


currenlty on gold we are in a decet area that i got using using VOLUME PROFILES and TPOs (montlhly weekly daily ) but i'll like to see go up towards the marked GEX levels and see if we accept prices there or reject and sellers can take over

if we break above and see acceptence there I see potentials for long towards the the upper zone (entries will be done on a pull back after acceptence higher )

but taking longs won't be my faviourite thing as i think then we will continue to chop there till NY

Absorbtion usually comes with stronger volume of opposite participants and gives a good advantage to a scalper... I just try to use that momentum. With exhaustion u never know if other participants r really interested to move the market in other direction.

"Order Flow" is another retail participant Holy Grail myth which attempts to give 'order' to the Forex Market. It is a joke and has no bearing on price. Banks and Large Hedge funds manipulate price action to lure in retail and trap positions in both directions and sometimes price can swing from high of day to low of day and then back to the high in LESS THAN 24 HOURS. The ONLY WAY to win is do the opposite and wait for the trap to close and reverse in the opposite direction. All this 'figuring it out' mental gymnastics is exactly what Smart Money uses to slap the shit out of retail over and over. Running over stops and blowing small account margins while traders sleep is nothing short of rape without breaking and entering to bash your brains while you sleep dreaming about order flow.

look at this guys Jeron on yt and also the gex providers like Menthor Q and Tanuki also have some educational content out there
if you search up how to use gex in trading surely you'll find some good videos i currnetly don't have anyone else in mind rather then jeron

I DEFINATLY AGREE WITH You
all this fancy things like orderflow and "SMART MONEY " are just complete BS things and trading is just a GLORIFIED GAMBLING some will make it some won't
and obviously there is no such thing as HOLY GRAIL and I haven't ever heard a orderflow trader use the word HOly grail and i also think its not any sort of holy grail its just a for me to understand market better and nothing else

Will be looking forward to see how we can do the OPPOSITE and make money if you are kind enough to educate us about that

True to that, nothing in the market works perfectly... Market itself is imperfect and there is nothing you can do about it. There is no holy grail. The only holy grail is ur discpline nd risk management. But I have been using order flow for past 3 weeks before that I was trading ICT for almost 6 months before that supply and demand...in my 1 year of trading journey nd using multiple strategies I came to only one realisation that the only certain thing is ur risk management... All other factors r outside of ur control.

Now talking about order flow... It helped me to understand market in more efficient way... Nd to ur point... order flow data does not come from forex as forex is not regulated market... It is a level 2 data that comes from regulated market... Which is futures market and to that as well... I don't know if it's true or not.. Whether it works or not... Bt I know that it is working for me... And that's the only thing I care about.
Now if u have something better more effective model please share with us nd enlighten us... Nd share ur trades as well.

Oliver Velez ( A 40 yr Wall street veteran) has a whole library on way more than just 'order flow' concepts but the simplest explanation he uses frequently is developing a deep understanding and relationship with the "fear and greed" change on a chart. Another 'YT good guy' calls it "pain and pleasure" but it is all the same. That 'rotation' took place about 30 minutes ago now. How long it will last is not worth a dime, seeing it when it happens is all that matters.
