This is not magic — it is the result of relentless training and screen time. Train yourself to trade what is visible on the chart, not the story your mind wants to create. Price action always leaves clues behind, and more often than not, those clues are pointing toward the same narrative. With enough observation, you will start to recognize recurring structures and patterns. Every pattern exists for a reason — it is simply the market reacting to itself.

Honestly, even I find it difficult to explain exactly how I enter a trade. The closest explanation I can give is that what Mandarin described is accurate—it reflects a part of how I scalp the markets. There are no universal rules that are absolutely right or wrong; everything comes down to individual understanding. What matters most is that you fully understand your own approach and remain disciplined in following the rules you have built for yourself.
Some scalpers prefer a minimalist approach like mine. Others believe my method is too demanding and prefer to incorporate multiple rules, indicators, and confirmations to support their decision-making. Neither is necessarily better than the other. For me, however, every additional rule or indicator adds complexity, and complexity often becomes a barrier rather than an advantage. Trading is highly subjective. At the end of the day, the only metric that truly matters is whether your approach allows you to generate consistent returns, because my reasons for trading have always been simple: income and enjoyment.
I have spent years scalping the markets, and my understanding of trading has evolved through countless hours of screen time. Ironically, the deeper my understanding becomes, the simpler my trading gets. Simplicity, in this case, comes from familiarity. After years of observing price action on the 1-minute chart, many things become instinctive. I no longer concern myself with forecasting where the market might go, nor do I spend time trying to predict trends on higher time frames. My focus remains on what is happening right now—the current price, the market's reaction at key levels, and the story being told by the candlesticks.
Surprisingly, that level of simplicity is often enough. Observe price, understand the reaction, execute with discipline, and repeat. Done consistently, a straightforward approach can produce thousands of dollars in weekly income. Believe it or not—that part is entirely up to you. The market doesn't reward belief; it rewards understanding.
