Hello and good morning..
I was reading 152 pages up and down for last week..and trying to find an answer. I am a big fan of hedging and scaling. This subject of hedge is very much talked over.. all around the internet. but very few achieved the tips and tricks. i have seen some of the other people doing well from the guidance of @bdsilvano. but i have some questions to Silvano. First part I understood.. it's kind of straddle..if i am not mistaken. then on asian session we keep taking profit. by London opening i have the first question..... you saying " we are good if we fully hedge by London opening".. what is that means? suppose we have ..4 sell and 1 buy.. and when London opening ..should we lock the hedge buy putting 3 more buy?
2nd question: are you looking for direction of the market when NY opens? or just clearing the profits and add to the opposite side?
3rd: what is the DD on intraday?

I was trying on the simulator.. but couldn't get the head around.

Im the beginner here and will try to answer:
1. With 4 sell and 1 buy l would close 1 sell(best if green) and add 2 buys becouse my account is big enough for that, if your account doesnt hold that, better close 2 sell and add 1 buy
2. when NY opens l would remove sell if price is in the support, if we are in resistance teritory l remove the buys, if we are in the middle l close all for that day or keep hedge to next day(in my account there is swap fee for overnight holding the trade maybe you also have that to consider)
3. l dont totally understand the 3rd question, if you are asking how to recover drawdawn l would say l do that in the phase of NY retracement if it success

I did a little demo trading after drawing trendline and support and resistance.

And then only trading using the line chart - and it went super smooth.

Hedged initially - and then locked up and added a postion at support/resistance/trendline.

Took profit when price reached a trendline and entered a hedge until I had an idea if price would break through.

Kinda noise free to trade with linechart imo.

Seems price is going around 4200 ~ 4300 area. actually I dont have any open trades now, but I know market is very confusing, trump and iran throwing different signals. I believe there is no peace agreement in the making. keep selling.

we are another support 4400, If this is a BUY we will go 4540, otherwise we continue at 4200.

full red bar on the month of MAY, there is no retracement, we are heading at 4200.

I am soo bad at this hedging strategy, as soon as the price breaks out of the range and starts trending I cant figure out what to do in that moment. I get fully hedged and then it takes for ever for price to reach the range again. Can anyone help me out, like how to approach a setup when the price breaks out, then you have multiple sells way below and price shoot straight up.

Like here, two buy positions opened up there and now two sells. Fully hedged at -100. how can I play this out. Waiting for the price to come back can accumulate swap fees like crazy, what is another option?

it’s a long game now bro, don’t remove your buys for now, just keep adding buys to eat as much as possible, once you see reversal then start removing buys and add sells and eat those sells as well, mostly we are going buy for now, until we reach 4600, then based on news either we go above 46 or we fall till 4300 or even lower 4100 but price will definitely come to your sell, when sell will trigger then no buys will play so be patient till next week or next 2 weeks and keep accumulating money from another buys or sells

yesterday PA, from ASIA price fell 4460 ~ 4380, then when NY Open, it reverse till 4500 area. I hope todfay they will do same as yesterday, either they will clear 4580 high and reverse.
