I believe Warsh will have to prove himself at his 1st press conference in June 17th, I believe he would have to take the gold down from 5000 or even above, sounds crazy..... it's 30 days away, we will see.

I have a question about trading before the market opens.

Before today’s market opened, the price was around 4505, and I had a strong feeling the market would move up.

If I had opened a long position while the market was still closed, and then 2 to 3 minutes after the market opened the price jumped to 4545, would I have made profit from that move?

Or does it not work like this because of the market opening price, spread, slippage, or execution rules?

I want to understand whether entering before market open would allow me to catch that jump, or whether my trade would only execute at the new opening price.

• Preferred long entry: 4552–4555 on a confirmed bullish retest
• Risk invalidation: Below 4540

im genuinely confused why some people are trading on market open, for me, that time is just noise/choppiness until market evens out, even in normal time no war, i never trade on a sunday night market open. why people saying ' oh when we pass x or y we will sky rocket'


why would you consider the current movement to reflect the week ahead?

the market just re-opened, needs to shuffle around, find its feet before continuing on its direction for the nxt 24 hrs.
