Support at 1.1600 and 1.1581 is keeping the pair from dropping toward the 1.1576/65 support zone. If 1.1645 breaks to the upside, then 1.1661/76 should come into view for buyers next.

Currently the pair is consolidating inside the black wedge patter having a small upside tilt. Zones represent support and resistance levels.

The EUR/USD is ranging after the 1.1645/36 zone kept buyers from advancing higher toward 1.1661/75. However, it continues to trend with a downside bias, though the recent support level at 1.1576 (near the 1.1565 weekly S1 level) is keeping any dips toward 1.1541 and 1.1505/00 controlled.

The EUR/USD closed down for a second consecutive week after failing to rise above the 1.1655 resistance level (former support). However, the 1.1600 round number and the 1.1576 support level held, preventing a deeper drop toward the 1.1565/41 and 1.1505/00 psychological support zones.

For now, the bearish trend continues below the 1.1650/68 resistance level, and EUR/USD will likely attempt to reach the 1.1500/28 zone next week. However, if 1.1576 or 1.1541/65 holds, the pair could bounce back toward the 1.1661/76 zone. A breakout above 1.1650/68 would then open the way toward the 1.1695-1.1723 area next.

Markets are moving over the weekend due to claims of an agreement and the opening of the Straight of Hormuz. Looks like a big gap up at opening will happen unless some other headlines change things between now and then.
Both sides claiming different results so we shall see what happens.

I never mentioned any currency by itself my post clearly shows the weekend EURUSD chart. All markets moved instantly due to news today about an agreement just as they have in recent months. That’s not a coincidence or due to anything technical with the charts.
If it opens then EURUSD and all other pairs with the dollar as the quote will go up. If it remains closed then we will see more of the same that we’ve been seeing for the past month, ups and downs with the biggest moves based on headlines about the war. If a full blown war starts then the dollar will gain strength sending the DXY and all pairs with USD as the base currency shooting upwards.
That’s exactly what’s been happening since this war started and has happened during war times in the past.

I read the same Iran might blew up the deal again so we might see the market up at the opening and then a retrace. If a retrace doesn't happen and news come out good from both sides then expect a bounce to around 1.1700 first. US is a holiday so we'll have all day to focus on news feeds.

yeah.. news produces volatility (price action or price movement) that is not predictable.

sometimes the price will begin to go in the direction that you were expecting, but you better have a stoploss, cuz it might whiplash you in the other direction..

everyone has their opinion, and they dont have to agree with me, but news creates volatile movements of price(that are not predictable).
