Yes and no. With high impact news, better to sit it out until next signal appears. On the other hand; the effect of news is absorbed in history and technical analysis is based on history.

The sudden movements of Gold made me decide to change to a different pair UNTIL I put white back on again. Check with attention what the essentials are for a good trade. Below H4 with entry points (black line).

1. double turn with white
2. candle count of 6
3. check the close proximity of white/green before crossing trade line.
