I favor a higher low for trapping shorters and use their buy-stops as fuel for the move up, waiting for conditions to confirm.

Not interested in catching the absolute bottom here, I am content with longing the reclaimed daily FVG (red box) if it happens, it will be worst entry, but confirmed entry instead of catching knifes.

My personal opinion is that the HUGE Gap wont be filled within this week. Bulls are sleeping deeply...
We might geht a bullish structure soon , but for me that won't mean this week (tdy).

Really good week, I was wrong about everything, however, my account experienced no losses - wasted time and tried couple of entries, but was lucky to exit with no harm - getting back to normalcy of pre-war management and control --- Positive reinforcement - its not that I shrug losses, its part of the game, but given recent conditions I am just trying to recover to pre-war psychology and rhythm.


This dump I actually expected 2 weeks ago - but we never got the proper dump, it violated the lows by a bit and started rallying - this does not mean I am willing to long blindly, its just I dont view this as change of order-flow... weekly range is pretty insane, 170 pips, which can mean 2 things: 1: the job further up was done and price attacked the lows because its no reason stall mid-way etc order-flow changed bearish OR this was an aggressive liquidity grab and price balancing before break out upwards, no change to bullish order-flow

Price will show its true intention soon and there is no reason to gamble - I expect the bullish momentum, once it starts, to be very aggressive - because upward is a bunch of low hanging fruits.... 170 pips down also means 170 pips up, if I manage to milk 1/3 of that next week, I am very happy!

GU also cleared its weak lows, especially the triple bottom from early 2nd week in April.

My only confusion is DXY, I honestly have no idea what its doing and this is the main reason I got caught off-guard this week for the opposing pairs, its rally offer no technical reasons I can understand and justify!

when it cleared the liquidity on the blue line on wednesday, I assumed that would be it, we got a shallow retracement (trap) before it pumped again, after that it have been one way direction.
-- The problem I dont understand the meaning of the move, I cant say when I expect it to top - April 26th high?
- Need synchronization between DXY and forex pairs, in price action and also in terms of objectives.

If we continue downwards next week/gap down... I'll skip 1.1594 and look at 1.1560/1.1569. Red zone is where I´m interested in. It stalled at 1.1619 the whole Friday, it´s still in the way. But we might just gap below

a daily, unmitigated OB starts at 1.1604 ends at 1.1512

The low at 1.1505 is holy for me, if that breaks, I change bias and go short (i doubt this though)
- zooming out, looking at 3month, there are technical reasons supporting this (price to go down), however, it contradicts seasonal tendencies.
- It broke the bearish reasons in the last weeks (in terms of technical), but an argument could be made for war-conditions, which invalidate technical analysis

I try to not add fundamentals to my technical analysis, but given current geopolitical problems, it makes sense for EU and GU to struggle, both those currencies are prone to energy prices.

What we can agree on, is that current low is incredibly weak and bound to be attacked, what happens after is important part rejection or acceptance - I just worry about all the obstacles on the way up the further down we go.

GU dropped almost 300 pips last week (EU dropped 180 pips) , it also closed at a very delicate point

When you can make arguments for price to both go up and down, its usually not ideal conditions, you want clear narrative!

Small gap so far, but it could open different, this weekend market is only an indication

I am waiting for Monday to clarify weekly direction, hoping for either Monday high swipe or Monday low swipe, at the end of the day it might get clearer what Tuesday PA will do.

1.16169 is first low after NY 12am - if this low is kept unviolated until daily close is a good sign, Tuesday can even swipe Asia low at 1.1608, once it recovers and get acceptance above NY 12am low will be confirmation of weekly direction.

For bearish weekly PA the setup is not as clear currently, Friday high is weak high IMO
