They don't teach world geography down under???

In my opinion, this EA closes small profits but suffers large losses whenever the stop loss is hit. I would like to see a longer-term backtest, covering at least 1–2 years.

Yes. I coded EAs similar to that just a few months after I learned something about MQL4, in 2013.
They just trade like crazy, opening and closing positions at any profit, untill they lose it all in one single trade...

This compiles fine!
We get only 4 warnings which don't prevent the code from working, but for fundamental reasons, those should be checked.

Returned value
Returns number of the ticket assigned to the order by the trade server or -1 if it fails.

OrderModify():

If the function succeeds, it returns true, otherwise false.

This message is for BESTEVTRADER just to thank you for all your assistance you have rendered to me here , as you are reading this you can get angry , throw balls at me and all that stuff but still i can never forget your assistance, your help, your perseverance , in giving birth to coding challenges i have asked you to do for me , yes thank you so much, for among stuff you have generated through your coding knowledge and experience two of those stuff actually came to play positive roles in my fx pursuit, i thank you so much and i wish you more advancement in coding. The attached screenshot displayed two of your coded files which now played alongside a super dashboard of the same setup done for me by CJA (respect to him too). Through your sayings i decided to start from somewhere so i used ai to generate the idea of the current strat to produce expert advisor, i am now using cos its been giving positive moves. Unfortunately for you, your comment is ill founded and without merit ... the Ea trades very specifically and is in and out very quickly often within seconds, it is neither Grid or Martingale and it never holds and hopes, all trades are very specific.
Your comment "a single sustained trend reversal could lead to a catastrophic account blow-off" is exactly why the trade opens and close very quickly at very specific points and why it is so successful ...

"Even if the EA performs well in a simulated backtest, it is trading against the mathematical reality of the live market. In a real-world environment, the strategy would likely be net-negative due to the following factors:

  1. The Zero Drawdown Paradox: The report [2026-05-14 17 22 36.png] shows a 0.00% Maximal Drawdown, which is mathematically impossible on XAUUSD. In live trading, you start every trade in the negative due to the spread. A 0.00 DD suggests the backtest is ignoring basic market mechanics.
  2. Spread and Commissions: If the EA enters and exits within seconds, the 'cost of doing business' (spread + commission) will eat most, if not all, of the theoretical profit. Backtesters often use fixed or ideal spreads that don't exist during the high-volatility moments this EA supposedly targets.
  3. Slippage: A 'precise and fast' EA is extremely vulnerable to slippage. In a live environment, you rarely get filled at the exact price shown in a backtest, especially on Gold. A fraction of a pip in slippage can turn a winning scalping strategy into a losing one.
  4. Statistical Significance: 41 trades over 7.5 months is a tiny sample size. Without accounting for real-world execution delays and variable costs, this isn't a proven strategy—it's just a 'curve-fitted' result that ignores the math of the real market."

My EA shows similar results; it easily doubles or even triples the balance daily in backtests. But we all know that backtest performance doesn't equal live market reality.
No Martingale, no Grid. No sub second-long closures.

he is posting all my ideas in this thread and my conversation with him on telegram,he is so cheap and low character. I liked one free EA from internet and started adding my ideas,resources,testing and finding the bugs and made it a good piece. he is so unethical that he is publishing it on public place,should he be not ban from FF?

you can see that this Russian Ea was a free simple useless EA i was interested in ,we have added so many ideas and at a cost i paid him and he is shamelessly saying that he will put that in public,he has no shame.he is not trust worthy at all,no one should give him any work

And the slippage on GOLD is really wild, even in relatively calm market conditions.
In a volatile market, you see 5K profit on the counter, you close the position, and you get 3k in reality...
So, any millisecond execution and immediate close results in a negative outcome, always!
And, I have a really good ping on my optical fiber connection...
IOW, what you see ain't what you get!!!

PS. I have personally experienced this many times in real live trading.
I am also guilty of "martingaling" sometimes, and then I close when the averaged price shows profit, but how many times I actually clicked to close when I saw good profit, but then looked at the history and saw negative!!!
.ex4/.ex5 files can't be fixed or modified / I'm not a coder!

Really, are you serious ... and you are classified as a high impact trader ... to start this is not back testing ... this is live trading ...
Back testing like you presented is like I said about you before, is ill informed ... why ... I will put it in simple terms so you can follow ... what is the quality of your back testing modeling ... duh it's 90% ... look at your own screen shot ... for anyone who knows anything about back testing anything less than 100% quality is absolutely useless ... so go find a commercial site that provides 100% quality data and then do proper back testing and then maybe I might listen to your ill informed comments ...
