DOW just opened.. so it's going to go up initially.. however GJ already hit 235.50 since the report of Bush speech came out last night.. I hope it's not a typical 'buy the rumors and sell the news' kind of reaction.

if this week's candle closes around this area, that's scary.. I'd expect a huge fall next week

I have watched dow and GJ very closely for weeks now. this is THE first time that GJ has not moved exactly in tune with the dow. Besides proving that computerized trading controls the market, I find this to be a very bearish sign.

My weekly 5SMA on my ODL MT4 platform is showing around 234.96 so I would have to say yes, weekly retracement is comlete.

Price seems to be breaking through that 15 min 50EMA.. let's hope it doesn't go to the 30 min one. I think market's just waiting for bush and bernanke to speak.. GJ will tank till then and then shoot up (fingers crossed)

How come DOW is not pushing G/J with him today.Its 100+ up but no effect on G/j.

You better refresh your charts, especially if you're using VT. 30M is nowhere near crossing back up.

weekly 50ema is at 233.30---and on its way up and down during the week its been acting as quite a strong s/r
wont be surprised if we close for the week just there (especially if no hint of immediate rate cut)

at the moment its at where it opened in the week

(just a hypothesis)

The matching to the dow has obviously been done with computerized trading programs. The big boys have shut down the computerized trading, at least for now.
