Disliked{quote} bro you literally gave me the shivers, from the beginning I've been cringing, I'm losing, the mind is hard to maintain, it's hard to keep face in front of my partner when you explain to her that you're starting everything from scratch for the 200th time, I thought I was alone but maybe I understand that we all go through it and that I'm not alone and it feels good that it's a 'common' process. I must also thank you for having this state of mind of transmission, I think that nothing can pay for that except recognition and respect. I have...Ignored
But the reward at the end is what we have our eyes on, and IT IS a nice reward, though the work is never done until you retire. Its a battle every single day, but for some reason I love it. If you dont love this you should probably do something else.
I think you are trading with too much money though. You should be trading with money you can afford to lose. If you are putting in more than that and its impacting your life, that adds a whole other level of stress to the situation. And that stress can make you have irrational decisions.
You are probably trying to recoup what you lost and then losing even more in a vicious cycle. You will keep losing though until your skills are there, not when you deposit more money. I know its a hard pill to swallow, but if you can over time become a more skilled trader you will eventually get it all back in spades. Might take longer than you ever imagined, but you put in the work it will come eventually. BUT, it is totally dependent on YOU! The market doesnt care how long you have been trading, it is up to you to take control of your trades, emotions, and decisions. Thats a scary thing I know!
If I could go back in time, I would not have deposited the amount of money I routinely did. I would have made myself PROVE that I am a good trader with $100 instead of $1000 or more. Now if you get a strong conviction about a big move and you want to take a swing here and there, I say go for it! It worked for me (eventually), but dont risk more than you can afford to lose or you might end up losing all your money and your girl.
Stay small, very small, until you have PROVEN you can do this for at least a few months, because after the big trade its right back to the daily grind and you gotta be able tk survive in that or you'll lose it all again.
