However, if you are going to concentrate on the trends which you only see in history, this won't help you any.
The correct question is to ask yourself what are you going to do when the price behaves like that flat part on the bottom left.
I mean, you will not know that the market will go in a nice one-directional trend, or not.
You only see that after the fact, but never before.
So, what's the point of constructing all those indicators if they never know the future???

Listen, you can find the Step MA.mq5, you can find the HeikenAshi.mq5.
What is the problem???
Give them to the AI and ask it to make one out of two.

You also can find the Fibonacci_Confluence_Zones.mq4
Ask the AI to convert it to MQL5.

If one AI can't do it, ask another AI.

Also, you can ask the same AI to find the source codes on its own!
If you don't tell the AI what to do, the AI will just invent stuff...

Also, you can upload any .hst file from MT4 to the AI and ask it to test the code it created on those data.
And then ask the AI to explain what the results are, graphically.
You can ask the AI to produce images with graphs.

Also, tell the AI NOT to change anything in the already working codes!!!
This is important, because the AI will attempt to modify what it thinks can be modified, but that's not the correct action to take!

And also, AI IS NOT intelligent, so it doesn't know what it should fix!
You must tell it what is happening, and what you expect to happen.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, that you need to tell the AI that you want a fully functional and working code, not some example placeholder.

Dear Coders,
I kindly ask who can add the following to the attached EA.
A start time and an end time in hours and minutes.
And if it is not too much to ask, preferably the end time should be optimizable.
I tried it myself, but got 18 errors and many warnings.
I would be very grateful.

i have spent countless hours teaching the AI what i actually need and getting the errors and warnings fixed.

a question for those much more knowledgable than me-----that's been bugging me for some time
what time does our forex day bar start ?
at present , northern summer time -- it appears to be 2200 GMT ( so a trading day would start at
2200GMT ) -- as opposed to

then you have to make allowance for BAR time , mt MT4 is +2 I think
BUT using MT4, it uses Bar time as the start + end of a day
should we ignore MT4, using it's BAR time as the day's start, and place a vertical line daily at
XXX bar and measure from that ? or some other way

we're told that TIME is important and yet I can't find a definitive source
I'm told that you can reset your program time on Tradingview but not on MT4
Is there a tool we can use to make it easier
all advice appreciated

Also, there is no such thing!
The first bar of the day for a given instrument depends on when your broker starts quoting it!

Timing is important when someone is trading events like session openings and/or news events.
