Sidelining the rest of the day.
Itīs grinding at 1.1744, above it could sweep and get slapped down around 1.17672.
If not and we close the day/week above. I'll most likely long EU as well next week.

Had a short scalp this morning at 1.1744 for +10... AND UJ short worked well.

The position from the opening of the London session closed at TP (+2000 USD). The second position from the opening of the New York session is still in play (currently +1000 USD, of course, anything can still happen.)
PS. I haven't been on for a while because I've been working on my own trading system. These are the first two positions with that system. There was also a position on the US30, which I'm not showing here because this is a Euro and GBP thread.

you can show US30 position if its related to your strategy and how you caught everything related to your EU/GU longs, just dont spam or post it as stand-alone trade-setup- winners are always appreciated, it provide motivation and inspiration which can breed hard-work for others, including me, in this thread!

Personally I focus on these 2 pairs because I am a specialist, I switch between them depending on high/low resistance in terms which pair provides easiest trading conditions based on my model.

- The rejection is pretty brutal though, also new monthly candle opened, which allows room for fuckery in terms of pushing for max pain by taking out local lows before macro highs - we broke many HTF structures to the upside, but also broke 4H structure to the down-side - I am also worry about dead-cat bounce, since multiple of the daily FVG can act as resistance, you would expect price to be sensitive when coming down and retesting them, since they get flipped to be inverted, but price pierced through like butter!

My play will be to watch Monday and possibly Tuesday, hoping for the lows to be taken, in that case, I would feel much more confident in longing - Friday high created a liquidity pool at the same level of a previous high + April high further up, moving closer to the new year high, which I believe is the final target in terms of order-flow.

The current local lows are prime attack target without ruining structure, just purging everything before going for the macro highs, which is a typical fake out, you trap buyers who long, take them out, creating shorters, which get purged on the way up.

3 factors are shaping my analysis:
1: Last week lows were pretty shallow
2: New monthly candle just opened
3: Friday rejection

Obviously if price show different intentions, I will join the wave, but I will neither short nor long current level, if Friday high gets taken before last weeks low, it means bottom locally is set...

Note: as of Saturday, seems like no gap have been created according to the weekend EU market

Seems like we got the dead cat bounce in the opening gap - I doubt GU will swipe its low, which is a possible good indication, forming an SMT divergence (EU creates lower low, while GU dont swipe the low aka higher low) - this will help provide confirmation of a bottom if that happens.... im just thinking loud, GU had way higher bounce, although it have double bottom liquidity, the range down is very far ( reason I view it as unlikely, especially since the high was broken)

I will look for shorts targeting the lows on EU

Not desirable price action, I see the session macros are out of sync, perhaps due to being Monday or waiting for news to justify movement?
- letting it ride a little bit before I decide to perhaps cut it short, I expected NY 9AM macro to provide the desired volatility in the right direction, which it did, but recovered...now its stuck at the upper end of last weeks NWOG

If it goes now fine! Would have liked to get a complete fill of the position tho...
