Only to explain what happened...
Gap up invalidate a 4h pattern to 4592.118, went tap 4635.532 and didn't close and can not to stay bearish and they close the pattern at friday close.
Now there are two options, or they don't be able to close above in 4h of 4635.532 and the initial target still valid, despite price is saying that is not high probability anymore or they will go to 4657.259 average opposite side or in worst case at extrems at 4678.987 and a very very extreme 4700.986, but closing above 4635.532 in 4H also have high probability to be tested, so patience and this price not taped untill an extreme will be a good position to sell.
In all of this having into account we have a daily locked price at 4668.127.
Use the information the best it suites...
Bearish extremes are 4570.401 and 4548.784...

Also my overweekend hold has worked well lately, i take a small position in the direction of the last print, or have a hunch from anticipated wars and their ridiculous, well its ridiculous, perpetrators and their ridiculous warmongering diatribe. Really good lucky at the start of the tragic conflict with a overweekend hold prior and predictably the next couple weekends, then shorts, so this seems to be getting a bit easier to read.

One other thing of note is closely watching $WTI and doing the opposite of whatever is does on $XAU, some major flushes came on $WTI, and of course taking positions there too. Oil has had some very clean moves on the 5 minute chart and the correlation with $XAU is so tight might as well trade both.

Aggressive entry, quite risky but let's see.

Pattern and candlestick read:
The structure looks like a failed recovery / lower-high pattern after the previous downtrend. The push into 4654 created a rejection wick and then follow-through selling, which suggests that buyers lost control near resistance. The recent candles are also forming a bearish pullback sequence, with price trading under the mid-band and struggling to reclaim the 4613–4634 area. This can be viewed as a bearish continuation setup unless price reclaims the recent highs.
Key levels:
Immediate resistance is 4613–4634. Stronger resistance is 4654.
Immediate support is 4593, then 4573, then 4552. Deeper support is 4532–4512.
Trade plan:
The cleaner idea is to sell rallies, not chase the low. Best short entry is a weak retest into 4613–4634 with a bearish rejection candle on M15 or H1. Stop can go above 4654 if using the H1 structure. Targets are 4593, 4573, and 4552. If price breaks below 4593 with strength, then downside continuation toward 4573–4552 becomes more likely.
Invalidation:
If H1 closes back above 4654, the bearish setup weakens. A reclaim above that level would show that the selloff was only a pullback and price may rotate higher toward 4674–4695.
