Jedi master, all i can say is thankyou.
i am a newbee and pretty confused with all the methods and systems , and scared of all the broker related horror stories that abound the forex forums.
not to mention all the con artists parading around as gurus.
and then this thread....
I have seen some very very generous people here on FF.
What you are doing for all of us only GOD ALMIGHTY can repay you.
I wish i could be useful to people here in any way but at this point in time i am not capabale enough to be of any guidance.
i wish one day i will be.
So to all the people here who have helped make this thread what it is i say thankyou

Hi Folks !

Does anyone of you guys has experience with Fastbroker ??
I've visited their website and have noticed that they are only
2 years in the market but NFA and CFTC regulated.

It would be fine to read some comments about this.

By the way perhaps Orange can give us some hints which brokers
he prefers for his trading.

For a long time I have found Thom a very helpful person, therefore I believe his site is a suitable home for posting any files for SRCD methods, but of course it all depends on Orange Roshan to decide.

I am a bit of a lurker here and from SRDC 1 and am following along. I do have live accounts at IBFX and UGMFX who support micro lots. UGMFX is NY time. I also have real accounts at FXDD and FXLQ but neither have micros as I recall.

Depending on the calculating method and parameters of an EA it may make no difference which MT broker it is running at and I would be quite happy to forward test on micro accounts once we had some confidence the EA was close to properly functional. I think my relationship with one of my brokers is such that I could ask him to contra any real bad trading errors the EA made but that is a big ask so it really should not go live until as near correct as seems sensible. I run EA's constantly so have no technical challenges using them.

I have a live account also at GFT and a special arrangement that allows trading micros BUT the EA would require to be coded for DealBook - that is another story altogether but if anyone can code it, I can run it. I am a grandfather with multiple business interests and too few hours in the day or maybe even left in my life but I am an active trader and because of the time shortage - mainly an EA trader despite I do trade the news and NFP. etc.

Orange, ooops, sorry. That should be Master Jedi - You did ask about usage on other platforms - I just remenbered I have a real account also at Commerce Bank IFX but that is ICTS and I don't know about an API - probably too expensive.

PS. If the EA can both buy and sell in the same way, I have an interest free MT4 account and so can hedge- no draw downs, just results. Would any of this help ?

I fear I am getting of subject here but something I can contribute on. The "need for speed" questions. I was involved in a thread a couple months ago about speed and slippage. "see link". The bottom line "I think" is, there are a lot of elements involved in chart and transaction speed. Where your broker, data provider and you are geographically located is a very big part of this equation.. There are tremendous differences in ping times "round trip from you to the broker and back again. I also have some links to places where you can test speeds and it is interesting to experiment. The most useful for our purposes might be to go to your command prompt. Type in { ping www.????.com -t ] The ??? is your broker etc. It will start running and give you the round trip times in ms. To shut it off enter { control + c]. Naturally the less time the better.
WARNING; Don't be fooling around in that command prompt screen if you don't know DOS. You can mess things up in there.

You would have to Ping the brokers real server though. The website would be meaningless would it not ?

Hello,

It is Sunday morning and of course a jedi in training never stops his training... so one simple observation that I made is that if one had traded Friday using the SRDC1 rules of engagement, it would have possible under an ideal exit strategy to have capture 102 pips. The resistance/support based on 12/7 were:

High- 1.9711
Low- 1.9609

12/8:

High- 1.9726
Low- 1.9507

You do the math.... even my grandmother if she was alive could have made lots of pips Friday! Maybe not 102 but enough to buy herself a new high tech hearing aid.

The guys at Teamspeak have been given the go ahead by OrangeRoshan to begin work on the proposed site, It is their intention to include everyone who would like to play a part in this project. We will need artwork, jpegs of charts etc. and files for downloading. This site will have it's own domain name and will be dedicated to the SRDC method only as taught by OR. Those of you with web design experience are welcome to email Traderbill with ideas, proposals, etc. Please include some urls of sites you have designed.
We have some ideas for domain names but everyone is welcome to come up with some name suggestions.

I feel that there is nothing wrong with people wanting to publically express their thanks and gratitude for what is truly a gracious act. Orange Roshan has led the way by relaying to us why he is carrying out this duty, honouring a promise that he made sometime ago; that reason in itself, in this cynical world, is inspirational enough for many.

Like you, many have been reading this site for some time, going around in circle, looking for direction etc, and have, for all sorts of reasons, been attracted into Roshan's threads. As Roshan says, perhaps there are no co-incidences! To get a better understanding of why there is such a level of attraction you could do worse than visit with the group at Teamspeak.

I hope it is ok to ask a question about what I see on the chart...
Since the current price is in Q4, I assume that would be a buy indication, is that correct?
Are the channels always numbered from the top down, no matter of the trend direction?

One this one I would wait till it hits the 100fibo, then enter a buy trade. Does that sound ok?

What you will want to watch for is the Sunday candle, if it is bearish that would be a confirmation that a bullish candle is probable for Monday.

In this case (the Monday opening) I don't believe the quadrant matters the Jedi master Orange starts talkong about this in post #35 of this thread check it out.

Now that is the best "solution" this could have had, that way OR will be DaMan and have his own domain. I'm sending my thoughts on the projetct as i've been doing this professionaly for 12 years and have some good contacts. Good call !

I aggree, that's a great plan. I am also a web developer (10 plus years), but it looks like you have a lot of 'cooks' already. Just is case I can assist, please let me know. It would be cool is the site would use Wordpress, it would make it easier to add and update content, and for the users to comment, and have a more interactive feel to it.
It would cut down on maintenance, and it is up in no time...
Best part, it is FREE.
Just my 2 pips...
